Unfortunately, Herself had the inside track on this flyby, and before I could do anything I was unceremoniously yanked into the shop as she had been seduced by some trinket in the (admittedly very attractive) window display. Before five minutes had passed, she had grabbed several items from the clothes rail by the door and was heading rearwards to the changing room to try them on, while I mooched around like the long-suffering husband I am, trying not to look like a shoplifter as I browsed the goodies on display. Both the ladies on duty were very chatty and friendly, which makes all the difference in these small gift shops - although the sample dish of tablet on the counter also helped it must be said. They have a great selection of Scottish- and Glasgow-themed knick-knacks on display as well as more generic items, so you'll have no trouble in finding a gift for that special person in your life. However, although I was impressed with several items and earmarked them for future gift purchases (I particularly liked the hanging jam jar lights), on this occasion I managed to escape with my wallet intact. Not so my good lady, who came away feeling very pleased with herself and her purchases.

My friend showed me the photo today on FB; the bouquet was beautiful! Perfect for my requirements, with purple and golden flowers as the mainstay - just as requested. There was even a matching box/vase for them to live in, and of course a note with the message I'd asked for. Performance was WAY beyond what I expected. I would use Toska again anytime. You can't miss it, it's the building with the retro yellow and white awning. As well as being really cute, Station Flowers also does just what it says on the tin. It has a wide variety of cut flowers available, as well as pre-made bouquets. In addition to this, the Station Flowers shop also bills itself as a garden centre. Yes, it is kind of a mini garden centre - but it does have a lovely range of plants for sale - many of which line the street outside the shop. Station Flowers definitely brightens up the far end of Dumbarton Street!

These are a great selection of really sophisticated cards - and they're not that unreasonably priced either! As well as bejewelled and sparkly cards, you'll also find a range of Banksy printed cards. Eleanor, the owner and head florist, is really friendly and will make you feel right at home while she whips up a beautiful bouquet for you. She also does weddings - so keep Quidest in mind if you're planning a bit of a "do". I'd definitely recommend that you try this florist next time you're after some blooms!

I buy my friends flower and card combinations from Quidest. I was even able to buy my boyfriend who is a great lover of urban graffiti artist Banksy, a card of his. Couldn't believe it I usually have to order such off the wall art stuffs from the internet. Wow wee!! And this is not the end, you can also get them in on big occasions, such as weddings, for a full blown TV romance film wedding with garlands of flowers everywhere. OHH sounds nice, and I bet they'd do a great job, so genuine and will work to your specifications.

On first impressions this is a beautiful wee shop filled with flowers and the ladies who work here are really friendly and helpful. Even my single stem came beautifully wrapped in coloured tissue with a bow. The owner also has a very cute French bulldog who hangs out in the shop so look out for her! I'll definitely come back here for a bunch of flowers soon.
