I was also told this has happened with her before. On top of all this, Ms Kim thought my 7 year old son was 41 because his birthday was entered in wrong. I thought she was joking and she wasn't! Then she proceeded to say he was 4!!! This is after I told her he was 7 about 10 times. She couldn't figure out the dosage for him so we sat there and watched her google it for 10 minutes on her cell phone. And it ended up still being wrong to the point where Walgreens told me it could have damaged his heart! The whole experience was insane.

Between the initial office visit and one set of labs, I've already spent over $1,000. I was told the labs would "usually come back fairly reasonable" through insurance, but $725 is far from reasonable. I was also told there was a cash-pay option of $900, which is equally concerning. I'm not sure what standard of "reasonable" this clinic is using, because these costs feel excessive and out of reach for many people. It gave me the impression that this practice may only be accessible to those for whom cost isn't a concern. Additionally, my experience during the in-office lab draw was concerning. The staff member who attempted it seemed very inexperienced, she removed the tourniquet before even attempting to insert the needle and then tried to reposition the needle after insertion. Another staff member had to step in and was able to draw the labs immediately without any issues, which was frustrating given that I've been told I have easy veins. On top of that, I would have had to pay another $219 out of pocket for a follow-up lab review that was supposed to happen within 7-10 days, but the earliest available appointment was a month out. At that point, I decided to cancel and take it as a sign. I would not return and cannot recommend this clinic. I would hate for someone else to end up in the same position, especially when you're already not feeling well and just trying to find answers, only to be left with an unexpected financial burden on top of it.

She told me a had a brain bleed after a fall I took because of a drug that was prescribed by the doctor there that made me dizzy; She sent me to the ER by ambulance. After several tests and scans they said I was fine and sent me home. Now on top of the 80k I spent I'm now getting bills from the hospital. I've been home 3 months and still don't feel better. Oh but the nurses did say it would take 6 months to start feeling the effects of treatment. I think it is a lot of baloney. I read reviews where people say they got better but I'm still waiting and hoping. I say be very cautious before going to Envita.

My Dignity Chandler experience in the observation area was horrible. the cubicles resemble cells…read more The ac froze me all night. Earlier staff were heard saying "68 is plenty warm for them ". This unit temp is centrally controlled at the nursing station. The ac vent for my cubicle was directly above my bed. I was admitted with pneumonia and sepsis. Cold air pouring down on my chest and very arthretic joints caused me unrelieved pain all night. I had on a hoodie and a fleece robe over my hospital gown. Staff brought heated thin blankets. They offered brief relief until they cooled down. I complained bitterly all night about the cold. I had the covers pulled up over my nose because even my nose was freezing! When day shift arrived the caregiver told me "I felt bad for you after I got home because you were so cold." She helped me go outside to get warm in the morning AZ sun. Getting warm eased my joint pain considerably. Coming in someone from day shift said to us, "the thermostat is right here. I'll turn it up". I'm sure the night shift considered me a problem patient because I complained bitterly all night about freezing and the cold increasing my arthritis pain. Why they would put up with a complaining cranky patient rather than turn the ac to 70 is beyond me. The nurse told me "we have 20 beds and only 2 bath rooms." They wanted me to use a bedside commode. I am old but ambulate at a quick pace with walker. The only relief I had from my ice box cubicle was walking to the bathroom. For safety they accompanied me. Staff let me know it was a major inconvenience to walk with me to the bathroom. Patients, especially elderly folks, can develop blood clots from not getting. Their convenience and comfort were more important than patients welfare! I have been a patient at Dignity Mercy. I have nothing but good to say about that experience. I was also a patient at This hospital Dignity Chandler for 5 days in June with pneumonia and sepsis. No complaints only praise. We went to Arizona General on Ellsworth and Elliot. From the minute we walked in to register until I left there was pleasant helpful staff. We arrived around 9pm, Emily at registration was kind and quickly got me registered. About two minutes later I starting receiving text updates about my wait time. These texts continued throughout my stay in the ED, keeping me up to date on my progress. AND, this morning I received another text offering help to find a PCP and make a follow up appointment!! The Triage team saw me within 20 minutes, and about 10 minutes later I was called back to a room. Dr. Okafor came into the room, listened to my symptoms, and immediately told me he would be ordering a CT scan and blood work. All the tests, blood work, CT scan, were done so quickly, I was truly astonished. Gratefully, nothing was seriously wrong, and I was informed I'd be going home. Karla, RN, explained all my discharge paperwork instructions very clearly, my IV was removed, and we were on our way home. This entire process was so quick and efficient! We arrived around 9 pm and we were back in our home at 12:03 am, this is including our drive time. It took over an hour to be seen and I had to leave without being seen , when I tried to reschedule. They wouldn't get me back in for three weeks, after bilateral pneumonia!!, how was that follow up? For three weeks they can't get me to listen to my lungs for a five minute follow up. I think the doctors are great if you can get past the rude front office.

The PA passed off her responsibility to an assistant whose credentials are not what insurance pays for. I do not recommend this office for a level of care.
