The reason I chose maybe is because I've not stayed or eaten here, so my intake is limited to the spirits and saxophone night that happened every Friday night starting at 5:30 PM. I came across this and some ' local what to do findings' and chose this for an evening out. I definitely wasn't disappointed at all. I love the environment and the library is a perfect space for this type of event. This event is open to the public, even if you're not staying at the end, I highly recommend checking it out and it's a perfect opportunity to dress up a little and enjoy a very simple evening of drinks and music. The wine that I got was a château de La Troy and it was incredible. From the Bordeaux France area service was wonderful, there is even a man who seemed like a manager or an owner type and came around and checked in on everybody. It was overall really wonderful experience and I'm looking to visit visiting more. I did manage to learn a little bit of information at the very end with things such as this property being on 14 acres of land and having quite a selection of amenities while staying here. The building itself is classic and old, representing a really beautiful southern Arizona experience.

My daughter and I attended Arizona Inn's Mother Day's Mother-Daughter high tea yesterday. Our server was Robert and he was incredible and so kind. He made this afternoon a joy. The dining room was beautiful and our table was set for a classic tea. We both enjoyed all the wonderful bites of delicious food. Our favorite scone was the black currant. Add the lemon curd and it is a delightful bite! I loved the beet and goat cheese bite and my daughter loved the cucumber bite! Our favorite dessert bite was the lemon square, so bright and delightful. The hot tea was excellent and I really enjoyed it with the lemon slice. Robert shared with us they will offer high tea again starting in the fall, so I am planning to gather some of my family to join us next time. Thank you for making our Tea time extra special, especially for a fantastic start to Mother's Day weekend!

The Arizona Inn is a local historical landmark. It's a hotel with a restaurant and has spaces you can rent for private events. My office held our holiday meeting in one of the private rooms available. I will say the service left something to be desired. We had a custom menu instead of the regular menu even though our group was smaller than 15. I asked specifically for one meal to be made early as the person had to leave and that didn't happen. We also had a kitchen error where 3 meals were forgotten and came out a significant time after everyone else. The food when it did arrive wasn't hot. It was overall kind of a mess. But we plowed along, had our lunch meeting (that ran over time due to slow service) and went back to work. I did hear that they were now doing afternoon tea again and signed up for a mother/daughter treat. The tea was held in the library which has an assortment of couches and wing chairs. If you need a higher dining table to be comfortable, the library might not work for you. There isn't a tea selection, rather you're served their custom house blend. It's a black tea similar to an English breakfast. Our area was pre-set with china, sugar, cream, and the scone accompaniments. Our server was lovely and attentive, he served the tea to the entire library. There were 3 finger sandwiches, 2 scones, and five desert bites per person. The caramelized onion tart was my favorite of the savory bits. The currant scone was fabulous, great texture and I loved the bites of current. The chocolate cake was very rich and cocoa flavored and probably my favorite. For $38 a person, it was a nice little treat and I'd recommend it for anyone that loves afternoon tea.

For starters, the Arizona Inn is wonderful. Old world charm with a gorgeous dining room, a more casual bar experience and also the outdoor dining which is our favorite. The Cobb salad and the carne asada tacos (better than the Mahi Mahi in my opinion ) were all great choices, hamburger is a solid choice and fries have some sort of tajin (?) spicy seasoning sprinkled liberally. Pool area is beautiful, croquet and tables tennis for guests as well.

I have always loved the Arizona Inn. I have taken friends and family there for meals, attended events there, including those of my own employer, spoken at luncheons, and done other work there as well. Its historic and lush surroundings remind me of where I grew up. Now, at long last, they are offering a quality afternoon tea experience for the season, and it is delicious, fresh and with great service! When we were there, they were still ironing out the kinks (like we needed spoons...and water) but the team was committed to ongoing growth and improvement. I can't wait to return with my guests! Thanks for the tasty sandwiches, scones and pastries!

What an elegant dinner in an old fashioned dining room. Fabulous flavors; innovative dishes. Best salmon with crispy skin sitting on forbidden rice with squash beurre blanc. Outstanding service. Knowledgeable waiter. Nice piano bar in next room so we could listen to the Great American Songbook. It was my birthday so they brought me a creme brûlée with fresh berries and chocolate things. A wonderful special occasion place.

We've stayed at several of the world's best hotels. Our number one choice for service, comfort, relaxation and cuisine is the historic Arizona Inn. We've been regulars here for more than fifteen years. Always wonderful to be welcomed back. As other hotels seem to lose their magic this elegant escape always seems to get better. Our week here has been a needed return to Paradise.

Very poor experience with lawn service being done as we were having brunch.

What's visiting family in the area and they recommended the Arizona Inn for brunch on a Sunday. The hotel itself is a historical landmark from what I gather, but the welcoming staff felt very short of anything pleasurable. I'll keep it short we asked the manager if they can have the gardener please stop cutting the grass while we were eating our brunch as a little bit of shrubbery were being pitched our way as we were sitting. Needless to say it was not done so I decided to write a review on how poor management was that afternoon given we were there for a joyous birthday party with a group of 8 people.

The Arizona Inn is such a special place to stay in Tucson, the grounds are magnificent and it is a beautiful Historical Inn nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Midtown. However, this review is about the Audubon Bar & Restaurant because leaves so much to be desired. For the high prices and what you would expect to be an elevated experience, they have some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Every time I've been here for food or drinks, there are multiple team members working and service is exceptionally slow even when the dining room and patio are more than half empty. The bartenders make you feel like ordering a drink or taking a seat on their patio is an inconvenience. Expect to wait and know asking for help will be met with indifference. They will openly refuse to help others on their team, telling customers who inquire about extended waits to "wait for their server because they aren't working in that section". At $10+ a drink and $20+ a plate at lunchtime it's just not worth it. The food is good, but expensive and ultimately the dealbreaker is truly the customer service. This should be one of the busiest spots in town, if they implemented a high quality Happy Hour, had better service, and hosted events to draw in locals this could be one of the trendiest and most popular spots in town. I want to see this place succeed, so I hope they make some changes.

I love that it is a single-story motel, meaning you don't have to listen to the neighbors walking above you all night. Also, they have gone out of their way to make things kitschy, artsy, and cool. There is art everywhere, including fun little treats like chalk and chalkboards in the room. The rooms are functional but not fancy. There isn't carpet (a benefit in my opinion), the shower is small, but has excellent pressure. I will say the beds are incredibly comfortable. Everything was clean. We had a small (retro-style of course) fridge in the room. And even though there was just a window unit, our room maintained a comfortable temperature. (Although it wasn't that hot. I am not sure how it would be in the summer.) I do love that they only have keypads, no actual keys, which made it really convenient to go in and out. There is also a little bistro set by the front door, which is delightful for sipping coffee (or eating your free oatmeal) in the morning. The common areas are fun, decorated with a lot of cool art and old school kitsch. The pool is heated saltwater, which is good for the cooler months, but kind of a bummer in the hotter months (aka most of the year) because it was only April but the pool felt like bathwater. You can't bring your own drinks to the pool area, but they have a lot of drinks for sale in the lobby (beer, wine, cider, no hard liquor), and the prices are quite reasonable. And the oatmeal bar in the morning is tons of fun. Service is slightly hit or miss. Some of the employees were amazing (shout out to Alex!), but some kind of felt like they were going through the motions. All in all, this is a good value motel, and I would stay there again.

There really isn't a lot in the immediate area of much interest; most of the best that Tucson has to offer is in the greater metro area, not the downtown core. But it is nice that they offer ample parking just steps from your room at no extra charge. The building looks nice from the outside, with its retro mod style and landscaped courtyard. The bar has very limited hours in the summer, but does have a nice drink menu and makes a good spot to hang out. The room was a bit sparse in my opinion. I was under the impression from the website that there would be a nook with a chair for reading, but my room didn't have one. It just had the bed, a couple of nightstands, a dresser, a mini-fridge, and a narrow desk. There's no closet, just a couple of hooks on the wall. The bathroom was basic, with a prefab shower unit. The decor is limited to a couple of vintage lamps and some patterned fabric for the curtains. The bed was comfortable enough and the air conditioner was wonderful at keeping it cool. There's a window next to the door with a top block that isn't covered by a shade, so anyone could stand on a stool from outside and look in the room. I went looking for ice at about 3pm one afternoon. I knew the bar was closed that day, but the entire front office area was locked and no one was around. Summer is slow season, but I wonder what if there were something more urgent than ice? At least the off-season rates are quite low.
