I was…read moreassured that it would be curriculum based upon initial tour but I've found out that there is no such evidence of learning taking place. I'm simply paying for an overpriced playtime experience. We initially would receive pictures and updates of our kids throughout the day but that has dwindled to nearly nothing except a passing conversation on a general "good day" at pick up. I'll definitely be removing my children and enrolling them at a facility with a balance of safety, care, curriculum and transparency.

That level of connection speaks volumes about how much they genuinely care for each student. It creates such a safe, welcoming environment where children feel seen, known, and loved. My kids are thriving, and it's so nice to know that they supported spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually each day. NGA is easily the cleanest daycare that I've ever stepped foot in. The camera and check in systems make us feel at ease and we can easily communicate with the front office or directly to the classrooms each day.

We came from a chain daycare that was kind of traumatic in how little they cared about my 6-month-old. They couldn't even pronounce his name & our son was miserable and cried all day long, as he was left in containers or on a boppy with no interaction. NGA was a little further away, but my SIL loved it, so we moved and it's night and day. He smiles at the staff every day when I drop him off, so excited to be at school. Staff inside and outside the classroom say hello to him by name and comment on how happy he is. He's thriving and we drop him off, knowing he's loved and happy.

I understand everyone has shortcomings but it's been on countless occasions that cannot get through on the phone lines. Sometimes my son will not need to be picked up from the school and it's imperative I get though to communicate these things. On 04/07/22 I confronted them about this matter and made a discovery that they do not even have the ringer sound on their phone lines. Which really concerns me because had there be an emergency they would not be notified until they decide to manually check the phone and missed calls. It really upsets me to see such great people operate a business in this manner. Called again the next morning at 8:30 AM , called 3 times. No answer and no way of leaving a voicemail. I am disappointed that no change has been made.

From retreats to Lutherhill, Snow boarding trips to Angel Fire, installing conduit with pastor Mike after school while exspanding the church and the deep life conversations we had as I went through a difficult time in my life(teenage drug and alcohol use) I completed my confirmation here as well. I still speak to some of my the fellow youths to this day ( I am 36 now). I have not been back to visit in about 12 years ( Iv'e been stationed in Coronado CA, Little Creek VA) but as my children grow I have always used Living Word as the standard I look for in terms of their youth program and excepting congregation. The youth programs were 2nd to none. Us teens could come to the church and hang out in the youth room at ANY time, and I mean ANY TIME! . We would call Pastor Mike on a friday after school or Saturday at 7pm so a group of us could just hang out and eat food and watch movies until 10 or 11 at night. We looked forward to Wednesday confirmation class, Saturday night music worship service and we all would hang out after the 11Am Sunday service. Pastor Mike operated with us (high school youth) knowing if we were at the church we werent out making the mistakes many other teenagers were making, we were safe and in a type of enviorment that can only help us. If Living Word is anything like it was when I attended then you will not find a better House of the Lord to raise a young family in.
