If I could leave 0 stars I would! Yes, the staff is nice (very nice even, and a clean place) BUT I…read morewill never step foot in there simply because of their outlandish hidden pricing for an Urgent Care that IS IN my network. Use this as a massive warning! (And I am seeing others comment in these reviews similarly.) Circumstance 1: I went in to the Urgent Care for a UTI and was charged, using insurance, $812.00 just for a dip stick urine test and under a 2 minute doctor consultation to write me an RX. My insurance paid $7.37 total because they said that is the cost of a test. That makes sense. So what is left is costing me over $400 a minute for help for face to face care with a doctor. Circumstance 2: I went to the same Urgent Care (didn't have the bill for the previous one, otherwise I would not have gone) for bronchitis and a sinus infection. Again, heart rate, bp, and a stethoscope to my chest was all that was done, in addition to the prescription to take to a local pharmacy (no xrays or anything like that). This one was charged $528...so over $150 per minute to be face to face with a doctor. Both times I went, I was the ONLY patient in the waiting room (and didn't see one in the main part of the rooms). It's not like I was at a high peak time even. Why weren't others there...probably because they have read so many poor reviews unlike I did. I was telling this with a friend of mine and she told me that this happened to her as well (same location for an ear infection), resulting in an outlandish bill, so I am not the only person that this has happened to. I have called many times to get them to recode/adjust trying to dispute it even asking for the self payout, and they are not budging. They are standing behind their stomach-dropping fees. I will also say, I have gone to this location other times in past years for the same issues and never received such outlandish bills. It's as if they are treating this like an emergency room (and with my multiple phone calls the billing department employees keeps saying "ER"). I have driven by the place to make sure it didn't change to an ER and I mistakenly didn't notice, but the sign on the building (and the website) says Urgent Care. I am NOT trying to get out of paying for my services, but I will stand up for what is "right" and announce to many what a horrible company they have become. Seems like the only thing I can do is leave a bad review, notify the news company, file a complaint with the department of health, in addition to my insurance company (Blue Cross) knowing. Price gouging at its finest. Very deceiving business practice. Please go anywhere but here! Never, ever again will I use them! (Look at the slew of Google reviews on this place. I am by far not the only one!)

Two days prior to appt w/CBT it was cx'd as I was told 'he had an appt'. What? Explained situation that I've been on books for 2 months and awaiting sleep test. Was told I'd be put on 'immediate cancellation list' for next few days. Never was contacted. Sleep test: home test went horribly wrong from the start. Technician not available to instruct me on equip so front desk receptionist showed me in 7 mins. Failed to mention one cannot sleep on side or face down w/kit. I pulled out 100 hairs as sticky's moved during night to scalp. System did not read. They ordered a second test of differing kind: Velcro strap was sized for girth of a horse and slipped off during night, so again no read. Asked to repeat test and was told 'no'. Ok, now for tele call for results from Wilmar- had appt for 10 am...9.55 she's not signed on yet, 10 not signed on. 10:05. 10:10 no sign on. Finally I call front office and she eventually calls me back asking if I'd like to reschedule for off appt. She didn't know how to use telecall! We had 8 min of conversation which she just read from report and could not explain anything to me. Waste of time and money. Do not recommend. Found out later CBT left practice. I never once saw an MD. Wilma did recommend an at clinic sleep study. Hard pass as wouldn't trust them to do a proper study.

As a side effect of the daily treatments, she vomits every time she tries to eat any food. Its been like that for over a week. She has lost 20 pounds since beginning treatment, and we are having difficulty getting this problem resolved by a doctor. We have called this problem to the attention of nurses in both pain management and radiation but have received differing suggestions from these nurses, who don't have any helpful advise and seem hesitant to involve a treating doctor. We have faith in the hospital staff. And will continue to receive treatment from the professionals there. I just hope that we get the attention my wife needs by being persistent .Don Parrish, Esq.

Today, I literally called in for details of where I should go for my appt because the email does not give details. Side note: when scheduling, I asked if I'd get an email after scheduling and they said "no not unless you request it" (what type of response is that from an established medical business). The person on the phone today at 8:52am (after being on hold for 8 minutes or more), was not helpful. I was asking for guidance clarity and where to go. She originally said to check in on the main floor. Then I asked for clarification because I told her that I did that last time and they said I would not have to do that again and I would just go to whatever door or floor or wing. She looked again and then said you would go to the second floor. I said OK can somebody please put that in the email? It is not clear where we need to go or even who we're seeing in the email. With the usual experience, the person on the phone did not seem to care about the patient experience or feedback. Either asked her to please take this feedback to somebody so that they can look at this and help with the patient experience. She then gave a scripted response. Fast-forward to going to the second floor like she told me and then being sent down to the main floor to get registered. I told that person that I was very frustrated because I literally had just gotten off the phone with the phone representative who told me very clearly that she misspoke. I should go to the second floor. She sent me downstairs. At that time I asked for management because this is not the first time this has happened. This is not the second time on top of a different experience in the waiting room where the front desk individuals were talking about very unprofessional topics, including violence, e.g., punching their Co Worker on the side of their jaw. I truly hope Banner does something with the experience here because as a patient it is not easy, it is cumbersome, there is no clarity and people are routinely giving wrong information. The process for patients. Should be as seamless as possible. I also don't understand or like that we are treated like hospital patients carrying around our own labels and having a wristband as if we're in the hospital every time we come here (or get imaging at the affiliated building. Talking to people here is mostly like they are robots (without emotion), reading scripts and not equipped to even give a direct number to management, especially when there's patterns of unsatisfactory patient experiences versus calling the main patient complaint line. I truly hope Banner takes all of the negative experiences to heart and makes significant improvement to the patient care experience, especially since we are not hospital patients. We don't even have the ability to check in online or do anything to expedite or improve this currently cumbersome experience.

Kacey has been the BEST caregiver I have EVER met in my 73 years, and I see a lot of doctors and offices these days. Kacey Lohman is the most caring, compassionate, intelligent, and patient communicator, and has provided me with the most excellent service I have ever had. I would like it if she could be my primary care giver, but that is not possible. I can only say that this is the first and foremost office I would prefer to go to for anything that they handle, mainly because of Kacey Lohman and the quality of service that she provides!

My first appointment that I waited 9 months for was at St. Joseph's, he did 0 treatment, told me to reduce my stress, laughed at me when I said Dr's and Dr appointments cause stress (I have 12 doctors currently they do), recommended a biofeedback physiatrist and told me someone would call me with my test results. Test results came in waited about a week, no one called, I contacted this office, I let them know they were in that a biofeedback Dr was NOT on my insurance and that I would like to try a medication I was previously on. Dr. Reddymasu called my mom and confirmed that I was right in what I read in the results myself and told her he would look into finding a biofeedback psychiatrist on my insurance, did not prescribe the medicine I asked for and to follow up in 4 to 6 weeks. I let them know again that there is no bio feedback psychiatrist on my insurance and I would like the medicine I was told again to schedule an appointment in 4 to 6 weeks. I voiced that this was just delaying my care so I could tell the Dr to his face the same thing I had already said 3 times. I was ignored. So I went through my PCP to try and get the referral to this new place so I could tell the Dr to his face that there is no biofeedback psychiatrist on my insurance to find out this office ALSO isn't on my insurance that thy don't accept AHCCCS at all. Which seems really weird the Dr didn't let us know that since he's looking into that psychiatrist on my insurance right? For supposedly being one of the best in the state I'm highly unimpressed by having my care delayed a year for 0 reason and having to chase everything down myself. I mean clearly this whole situation is also like a relaxing spa treatment and not stressful at all.

I review everything. Including... walk-in doctor's offices. So, I'm a One Medical user, and I've used it for about six months. This is my home location, and I'm definitely a fan. One of the main things I like about it is how you can get labs done by just walking in anytime. You don't need an appointment. You just walk in and wait. If there's a line, they can give you a time to come back. Or, if there's no line, you can just sit in the waiting room. It's very nice to have a lab on site, and you don't have to deal with the whole Sonora Quest adventure that a lot of us Arizonans deal with. I've seen two nurse practitioners there. Both of them were helpful. And not only did they show good bedside manner--if I'm able to use that term, despite not actually being in a hospital bed--but they also were quick to respond to my messages on the app. The service here is painless. No pun intended. It's easy to make an appointment. Their app is very well-designed. And this location is clean and friendly. I would recommend One Medical if you're looking for a simple primary care experience.

But whoever is handling the billing lately is so rude, am not sure what happened. Maybe they outsourced it? I've never had an issue until recently. I called to clarify a charge that didn't seem like it was coded correctly. The person I spoke to on the phone was obviously busy with so many other things in the background and seemed annoyed and said she'd pass along my concern. I asked in the app and the person who replied was extremely rude as well, when I was just looking for clarification. Apparently a Saturday appointment triggers an extra $87 charge as "after hours" even though that was never disclosed and it shows on the website that they are opening alternate Saturdays (again with no mention of it being an extra fee or extra hours.) It wasn't an emergency and we didn't need to go on a Saturday. I just think that it should be disclosed somewhere that an extra fee will be incurred. My first inquiry in the app received a very patronizing "non-answer" to my question. The AI in the app is great but it doesn't handle billing. AI isn't always helpful but at least it's not rude or insulting. After the back and forth, I logged in to pay the balance that I should not have owed, but I chalked it up to a lesson learned. It showed zero balance. That was a few weeks ago, and today I got a bill in the mail showing the outstanding balance again. The providers and the quality of care are amazing. I just felt insulted the way I was treated by the billing people, and that's left a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely recommend One Medical but be warned that billing might be a hassle now that I guess it's being handled by new people.
