Bagel skeptic converted. I have questions for my past self…read more I walked in as a certified bagel hater. Every bagel I'd ever met was a dense, jaw-workout hockey puck, and I was ready to be unimpressed. This little mom-and-pop spot had other plans. I went with the toasted garlic bagel with egg and cheese, and it was soft, fresh, and fought back about as much as a pillow. Zero chewing marathon. And the eggs are REAL eggs. Not the sad powdered mystery sunshine you get everywhere else. Someone here cracked an actual egg for my sandwich, and I respect that deeply. Total was $7.43, and there's a 3% fee if you pay with a card, so bring cash and keep your dignity (and your three percent). Service was warm and friendly, and I have exactly zero complaints, which is deeply inconvenient for a Yelp reviewer.

Life's a Bagel is one of those Vegas spots that just gets it right…read more That breakfast sandwich alone is worth the trip. A loaded everything bagel with eggs, cheese, and plenty of meat, served hot, fresh, and unapologetically substantial. This isn't some sad drive-thru breakfast sandwich. Come hungry. But what makes Life's a Bagel such a great find is that it goes way beyond bagels. They have a full selection of deli meats and plenty of house-made options to take home, including frozen meals like lasagna and chicken pot pies. It has that old-school neighborhood deli feel where you can grab breakfast and leave with dinner for later. Whenever I'm on the northwest side of Vegas, this place is an absolute delight and an easy stop to make. Great food, generous portions, and plenty to explore beyond the bagel case. A must.

Consistently good service, food, and ambiance…read more My new favorite menu item is Prosciutto avocado toast on multi-grain bread.

I'd heard about this place for years but never had the time to go inside and enjoy their coffee…read morewhich was how I wanted to experience it for the first time. I could have stopped in and gotten coffee to go anytime but I had heard from so many people it was a great place for enjoying your coffee and the atmosphere. I've been to a LOT of coffee spots in Vegas. I LOVE coffee and discovering new spots that check all the boxes is one of my favorite Yelper things to do! Here's the breakdown. Dining-Seating Area: pretty status quo as far as coffee houses go. Combo of tables for 2, high top seating and a cozy couch-chair combo with a coffee table towards the back. I chose to sit at a table with 2 large leather chairs. When I sat down my chair sunk quite a bit. The seat cushion was pretty worn out. Not uncomfortable necessarily, but "worn in" for sure. The table was in good shape and very sturdy. Cleanliness: The area and overall seating area was clean. I used the restroom also which was clean and well stocked with all you would need. Vibe: There was your standard coffee house music in the background. Liked that. It was day time and there was a lot of natural light coming in from the many floor to ceiling windows lining half of the room. There was soft lighting throughout and the decor was warm with a cool floating shelves situation above the counter where the baked goods display is. Customer Service: This is where this place really shined. The young lady who took my order was friendly and polite. She took my order and delivered it to my table. She even brought me a little extra almond milk for my Americano in case I need more. When I was leaving I wanted to order a coffee to go and she kindly offered me a refill to go free of charge. Very kind of her. Coffee: Of course the most important part right? On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a solid 8. It wasn't too bitter & it was served hot (not lukewarm) which is an absolute must for me! The oversized cup was filled to brim with the delicious brew! I don't get fancy drinks. My standard is a hot Americano with almond and sugar vanilla and this was exactly what I got and it was delicious. Areas to improve on: No Wifi. I guess it was not working. I had planned on answering work emails on my laptop while I enjoyed my coffee which wasn't possible. Uncomfortably warm inside. I'm not a hot blooded person by nature. Usually freezing indoors when the AC is on overdrive during the summer. It was really warm inside. If I was warm, I know others must have found it uncomfortable. Would I come back? Yes! I enjoyed my Americano & the customer service very much. I would come back with a friend to enjoy hanging out but I wouldn't stop here to catch up on work due to the lack of wifi. No biggie
