I'm from LA where sushi in my book is the best outside of Tokyo. This restaurant offers the Italian usual: salmon and tuna, with just one dish that offered hamachi... so with that out of the way; I like the restaurant and think their presentation is great. But it was hard to order with its large menu and high pricing - although I appreciated the menu showing pictures for every dish - but there just were too many options of the same fish. For me; if the sushi restaurant can offer a lot of variety of Salmon and tuna dishes, but not much else, their costs are already marginalized versus a restaurant that can offer unagi, toro, and other fishes I mentioned above so their pricing wasn't entirely fair although service was GREAT. Presentation was great and I liked they offered salmon and quail egg options as that hit the spot after having too much Italian during this trip... their dishes were good as pictured. I think my glass of Spumante (aka Prosecco/champagne) was only 3 or 4 euros - something incredibly dirt cheap which was nice. I am more inclined to give this place a 4.5star but there isn't an option.

The portion is the smallest I have ever seen in my life. 15 euros for a tiny plate of squished sushi set... and I am not even half full. Some pieces of the nigiri also have that "sea taste". Not sure if it is a good sign or the contrary. The quality isn't bad. But not justified for the price. I also ordered seafood salad. The salad is larger than I expected, but the salad sauce, which is a typical citrus ponzu mix, is nowhere comparable to the ones in Canada. It tastes bitter, not savoury. Anyways. Thank you for the friendly service. I wish you the best amid the terrible pandemic but I don't think I will be back anymore...

Room to improve: though fair prices, it was too high for the quality, which was mediocre. The nori wrap was fishy tasting, which overtook the fish. The rolls are very simple and could have had a little more to them. Overall, I would try another place before coming back.

It felt very authentic and the staff was Japanese. We were told they opened at 7, and once we went back we saw there were already parties dining inside; wish they marked clear hours somewhere or even an open sign. Our free tuna tartare amuse was yummy, as was the starter miso soup. The udon soup was delicious. Light, chewy and came in a clay pot. The shrimp tempura was soggy almost immediately though. The mixed sushi (nigiri assortment) was very fresh. A letdown was the expensive tempura specialty roll, which ended up being swirled in so much rice with only romaine lettuce as the green--that stumped me. It was barely edible. However, our added on salmon nigiris were delicious, but we were shocked to see that each piece was 3.50 euros! That's usually the price for two nigiris. Beware that they sell them by PIECE, not by twos. You'll get fresh fish here, but just beware of the steeper prices. It's a nicer Japanese sit down in Milan, and is located in the business area of the city.
