They have repeatedly delayed my closing going on three weeks now with no end in sight. Communication is atrocious, updates are non-existent, and their process is flawed. Once I terminate this contract, I'll be declining any future offers that come through with pre-approvals from Finest City. Absolutely unacceptable.

I had a few problems getting my tax returns back in time for the sale of the house I had already put a offer on. When they excepted my offer Javin made sure they would extend closing for me. Every time a week went by & we ran over our extension she some how got them to extend again! Home buying is super competitive in SD and she helped me get the house I wanted with a VA loan. There were 10 offers or so on the house - I'm pretty sure I should have been last choice. I've lived in my house for almost a year now and she is still helping me out with many things. I've asked her for numbers of contractors to issues I have had with my neighbors about a easement. She is always there, helpful and super knowledgeable about everything real estate and more! Thank you Javin for always being so patient and kind :)

My wife and I had many (and I mean many!) questions on all the documentation from putting in an offer, to escrow paperwork, to the final sale. She looked at many homes with us throughout San Diego and was able to provide great insight on various characteristics of a home that we would have overlooked or would not be aware of. The house we put an offer on was a short sale and by no means was it "short." There were many parties involved with the short sale so as one could imagine there could be a lot of miscommunication and delay. Not in this case. Javin and Bri were on top of all parties involved to make sure the short sale would go through. In particular, over the holidays she was able to gather the necessary details to provide to the bank who owned the home. We only had a 2-day window and it was the end of December, but Javin was able to get it done and pulled through amazingly! We are now proud to say that we are owners of this home and it was well worth the 6-month process!

We just closed on our first house last week, and I feel SO FORTUNATE to have found Maureen!! She is a mastermind of the mortgage lending process! I don't think I've ever met someone who is so hardworking with such high standards. Even better, Maureen upholds the same high standards for every one else involved in the lending process (escrow company, lenders, realtors, etc.) and she is constantly 2 steps ahead and prepared for anything, with a back up plan "just in case" to ensure everything goes through seamlessly. As a first time homebuyer initially unfamiliar with the process, I now know I threw a couple curve balls and Maureen didn't even bat an eye. As if all that wasn't enough, I also had no idea where to start when looking for a good realtor. Maureen suggested a few she has worked with in the past that she thought were really good, and she did not disappoint. I ended up choosing Melissa Tucci as my realtor, who was just as amazing as Maureen, and the two of them working together turned into an unstoppable powerhouse that could move mountains and get a deal done! We immediately had multiple offers and a final price of thousands above listing price. The results spoke for themselves: our beloved home was sold in just 6 days to the best buyer. We were also out of state which made everything that much more difficult. I'm a big Yelp user and relied on the hundreds of other 5-star reviews to look for a real estate company. I was so impressed with Craig and Jesse from the start. The initial call was SO organized, thorough, and personal. Not only did they give us a incredibly detailed step-by-step guide of the buyer's process, but also spent the time to learn more about us as people and what we were looking for in a home. I was surprised my how much time and energy was invested before even signing any contracts with them. After meeting with a few different teams, we chose the GreenHouse Group and 100% stand by our decision! Communication was consistently strong and we were always in contact with someone/the entire team along the way. We worked with Lori & Alexa who also helped us navigate documents and important deadlines. The GreenHouse Group has a well-designed platform to track the home buying process--making it easy to see deadlines and to-dos. We worked with Craig for our Kick-Off Tour. The GHG evaluation system for homes captured everything important to consider when purchasing a home and we learned so much about what to look for when checking out a home. Craig was straight-up, incredibly knowledgable, and clearly looking out for our best interest. He took us to see quite a number of homes that day and even had snacks and waters to keep us going! Unexpectedly, and uncommonly, we found a home from that weekend's trip we wanted to put an offer on. Craig jumped right in and guided us through the 'make-an-offer' process. He worked incredibly hard to negotiate on our behalf and was able to coordinate inspections and video walk-throughs for us when we couldn't be physically present. We were always promptly and transparently well-informed and advised. We never felt pressured or persuaded to make any decisions. Craig and the GHG team presented the facts and gave recommendations based on 20+ years of company experience--always looking out for our best interest. They were 'real' and weren't out to "sell us" on anything. Even during the rent-back process, the team coordinated with the other realtor to work with the sellers on transitions and key dates. It was super fun when Jesse and Lori were already at the house when we arrived to pick up our keys--what a thoughtful surprise! To top it off, they came with a whole container of new home goodies and essentials for us to use while we settled in (and even had some for our dog!) The care box was super useful, especially when we didn't have any of our kitchen items yet! Even after the sale and getting our keys, the GHG team is still there to answer your questions and help you out--including a list of recommended contractors and other services you might need when moving into a new home. I'm sure I am forgetting something here, but needless to say, we 10/10 recommend the GreenHouse Group to anyone looking to buy (or sell!) a home. We have no regrets and could not have asked for a better team. Thank you GHG!
