Giving five stars and a glowing review is simply not enough to express how happy we were to work…read morewith The GreenHouse team. As first time home buyers, we had no idea where to start. We were also out of state which made everything that much more difficult. I'm a big Yelp user and relied on the hundreds of other 5-star reviews to look for a real estate company. I was so impressed with Craig and Jesse from the start. The initial call was SO organized, thorough, and personal. Not only did they give us a incredibly detailed step-by-step guide of the buyer's process, but also spent the time to learn more about us as people and what we were looking for in a home. I was surprised my how much time and energy was invested before even signing any contracts with them. After meeting with a few different teams, we chose the GreenHouse Group and 100% stand by our decision! Communication was consistently strong and we were always in contact with someone/the entire team along the way. We worked with Lori & Alexa who also helped us navigate documents and important deadlines. The GreenHouse Group has a well-designed platform to track the home buying process--making it easy to see deadlines and to-dos. We worked with Craig for our Kick-Off Tour. The GHG evaluation system for homes captured everything important to consider when purchasing a home and we learned so much about what to look for when checking out a home. Craig was straight-up, incredibly knowledgable, and clearly looking out for our best interest. He took us to see quite a number of homes that day and even had snacks and waters to keep us going! Unexpectedly, and uncommonly, we found a home from that weekend's trip we wanted to put an offer on. Craig jumped right in and guided us through the 'make-an-offer' process. He worked incredibly hard to negotiate on our behalf and was able to coordinate inspections and video walk-throughs for us when we couldn't be physically present. We were always promptly and transparently well-informed and advised. We never felt pressured or persuaded to make any decisions. Craig and the GHG team presented the facts and gave recommendations based on 20+ years of company experience--always looking out for our best interest. They were 'real' and weren't out to "sell us" on anything. Even during the rent-back process, the team coordinated with the other realtor to work with the sellers on transitions and key dates. It was super fun when Jesse and Lori were already at the house when we arrived to pick up our keys--what a thoughtful surprise! To top it off, they came with a whole container of new home goodies and essentials for us to use while we settled in (and even had some for our dog!) The care box was super useful, especially when we didn't have any of our kitchen items yet! Even after the sale and getting our keys, the GHG team is still there to answer your questions and help you out--including a list of recommended contractors and other services you might need when moving into a new home. I'm sure I am forgetting something here, but needless to say, we 10/10 recommend the GreenHouse Group to anyone looking to buy (or sell!) a home. We have no regrets and could not have asked for a better team. Thank you GHG!

They were always available to answer questions, kept me informed every step of the way and made sure I knew what to expect throughout the process. She kept everything organized behind the scenes, was always responsive and helpful, and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. I have no doubt that her attention to detail played a big part in helping us close on time. Thank you to Lori, Alexa and Jesse in making this process feel smooth and manageable! We just closed on our first house last week, and I feel SO FORTUNATE to have found Maureen!! She is a mastermind of the mortgage lending process! I don't think I've ever met someone who is so hardworking with such high standards. Even better, Maureen upholds the same high standards for every one else involved in the lending process (escrow company, lenders, realtors, etc.) and she is constantly 2 steps ahead and prepared for anything, with a back up plan "just in case" to ensure everything goes through seamlessly. As a first time homebuyer initially unfamiliar with the process, I now know I threw a couple curve balls and Maureen didn't even bat an eye. As if all that wasn't enough, I also had no idea where to start when looking for a good realtor. Maureen suggested a few she has worked with in the past that she thought were really good, and she did not disappoint. I ended up choosing Melissa Tucci as my realtor, who was just as amazing as Maureen, and the two of them working together turned into an unstoppable powerhouse that could move mountains and get a deal done! Less than thirty days later, we were closing on a loan saving me about $550 per month with a lower rate and no PMI! I was very impressed as they came through I what was promised. Several pieces of documentation were required throughout the process but I always felt like Bryce was in control of the situation and had complete confidence in him. Warning about Mortgage One…read more I want to share my recent experience so others don't go through the same thing. In July 2025, I started working with Mortgage One through loan officer Mark Butrus. On July 31, I gave my credit card information to his processor to pay for an appraisal. The appraisal was completed, and Mortgage One even told me they would cover the cost of the follow-up visit. A short time later, I decided to switch to Turbo Mortgage because their rates and fees were much better. After that, things took a very troubling turn. On August 18, I received a fraud alert from my credit card company: a $496.55 charge attempt to the City of Warren (Michigan electric company). I live in Georgia and have no ties to Warren, MI. The only people who had my card information were at Mortgage One. When I questioned Mark about this, he denied any involvement, but the timing and location are extremely suspicious. Using a customer's credit card information for unauthorized charges is fraud. I am considering filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, CFPB, and law enforcement. I'm posting this to warn others: be very careful who you trust with your personal and financial information. My experience with Mortgage One has been extremely disappointing and concerning.

She explained every part of the process to us and made our home buying experience much smoother than I thought it would be. She knows a ton about the areas we were looking at including information about school districts and where the good vs. not so good neighborhoods are. She really helped us think through what we wanted and needed in a first home and brought things to our attention that I wouldn't have though of. We are moving back to the North County area from the East Coast and had a very limited window to see houses in person. Ahead of our visit, Holly did a great job listening to what we wanted, providing options for us to review, and gathering feedback to distill the market down to houses that fit all of our parameters. During our house hunting trip, Holly tirelessly showed us house after house, including several day-of additions, to ensure that we had a solid understanding of the market. During this time, Holly did a great job of sticking to our original vision while adapting to our feedback as we started to better understand the market. Through this process, we felt we able to make an informed decision despite only having a few days in the area. On the last day, we found a home that was the right combination of all the things we wanted and needed for this next chapter of our lives. With a clear first choice, Holly fought hard to ensure that we were able to secure a winning offer. With her help and guidance we got the offer accepted just as we were getting ready to leave California at the end of our house-hunting trip! Getting that offer accepted was a huge victory, but Holly's effort and value did not stop there. Through every step of the the escrow process, Holly continued to advise us and fight for the best deal. This effort saved us a lot of money and made us feel confident that we truly walked away with the best price the market would allow. Even after closing Holly has continued to be a vital asset as we transition back to California. By conducting walk throughs and working with the selling agent to ensure that the property is ready for move in, Holly has once again shown that she is committed to ensuring that our best interests are represented through every aspect of the real estate buying experience. In addition to all of these wonderful qualities, working with Holly was fun! We had a great time getting to know her and she turned what could have been an absolute grind into an enjoyable and educational experience. She has our absolute highest recommendation!
