    It sucked.

Worst food ever! So slow and food was cold, we orded american frys and cheese and the cheese was cold and not melted, DONT GO THERE. I HATED IT. Never ever go there. Does not even deserve a star.

Heading back to Nashville on some back roads and found this place. We liked the look, so we didn't even check Yelp. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly with good quality beef. Loved the hash browns. The vegetable beef soup was homemade, full of flavor, and not overly salty ( most restaurants oversalt everything). Our waitress was very nice and funny. Didn't mind our accents and had witty responses to everything. The place was packed with locals and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and the food. Also, great prices for quality food and excellent service. Thanks!!!!

Good food, everything was made to order and decent quality ingredients. But extremely expensive. It's tough times, y'all.

Stopped for lunch when passing through. Great burger and BLT, and the broccoli cheese soup was excellent.

My travel companion had a cold and we were able to ask for a home remedy. They were gracious enough to give it to us. The home remedy is a teaspoon of cayenne pepper and a shot of milk. Ambience is clean high and priced right.

Highly recommend if you're in the area!…read more I was in Muscatine for work and we stayed at The Merrill and am so glad Maxwell's is right in the lobby. We travelled at the end of January and after a long day of travel and many delays due to heavy low fog, we were definitely excited to have a restaurant right in the hotel. There is a parking lot across the street and a parking deck behind as well so there is plenty of parking. The restaurant is located right in the lobby and also has a full bar. My coworker and I were dying for a drink and some food after a long morning. The bar has speciality cocktails, but also a full bar, wine, and beer. You can check out their speciality cocktails, wine, and beer lists on their website as well as make reservations. For food, my coworker and I decided to share a few appetizers. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts, Wings (1/2 Honey Sriracha, 1/2 Ginger Scallion), and the Baked Goat Cheese. They were all DELICIOUS! The flavors were great and the portions were as well. I've never had goat cheese before and it was so amazing I couldn't stop eating it. The sriracha wings were spicy, but not overwhelming. Later, some other people met us and we ordered the shrimp tacos which were also very good. The next morning we also had breakfast and I ordered the Omelet which comes made-to-order and you can choose 4 different additions. It also comes with potatoes. All delicious. Additionally, the service was also great as well! If I'm ever back in Muscatine I will definitely plan to return.

The are known for their savory quiche and crepes as well as their delicious ice cream filled dessert crepes, ordering the Spinach Bisque is a MUST! While a cup may be fine for some, I always insist on a bowl of the creamy, buttery bisque. Recently for lunch, I chose their Wagyu Meatloaf Sandwich, paired with spicy ketchup, provolone and crispy onion strings on a grilled artisan white bun. The side of Mayo aoli is a great topping too! Sitting inside and watching the chefs prepare the crepes is a delight, but a beautiful afternoon calls for a relaxing meal on their ivy lined patio! It is so cute and gives such great small town peaceful vibes. Highly recommend; but you may need to call ahead for reservations.

Today we stopped for lunch and Andrea took great care of us!! We were offered a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside and enjoy the display of antique decorations ( old phonograph, television, antique furniture, etc). We had a crepe and soup combo and a soup and sandwich combo. The spinach bisque is always on the menu and the soup of the day was tomato cognac. Everything was delicious as usual. This place has been in business since 1978 for a reason! The quality of food and service can't be beat!
