Purchased 3 custom upholstered stools online . when white glove delivered, stools were pushed under the island counter top by delivery personnel. Stools weren't meant to be pushed under as they are the same height of the counter top. This caused peeling of the paint immediately. Called customer service only to be on hold forever until I never spoke with a human. Drove to my local store to ask who I could speak with regarding the issue and was simply given a business card with the same information I found online . Kept the stools since I had no other choice and now stools are wobbly and paint is cracking on the back portion of the stools. I've bought better quality furnishings at TJ Maxx. I can't believe I invested so much money into completely worthless stools. these stools aren't even used but 2x a year when we have guests for Thanksgiving and Christmas, they shouldn't look like they've been used in a frequented eating establishment. A gorgeous place to purchase furniture and home decor! Although I've not purchased an item from here it is the only place a good friend of mine spends her money and she expects high quality. (Sometimes I get her hand me downs!) What I appreciate is their classic style also captures something more unique than other stores - maybe with a pattern or edging or color, etc. Also it's not one particular style. Some things I loved, others not so much but this means another person will be happy to find it. With it being summer they offered a few patio sets as well - just amazing with huge umbrellas and sectional seating. Perfect for a fair skinned gal like me that prefers being in the shade. I'll be in the market for bedroom furniture soon and doubt I'll do it again in my lifetime. Maybe this is the spot to revisit when I'm ready? read more

Immediately, as soon as I walked thru the doors, I took notice of how neatly the presentation of how the decor was layed out. Although the furniture was nice, I feel that it was marked too high. However, I did find a piece of furniture for my foyer, but due to the lack of acknowledgement from the workers, I decided to just walk out and leave. I would give them a negative star if it was possible. When you are purchasing they're wonderful but after they have your money it all falls apart. We had issues with delivery, the pieces are okay but not great, and now that we have a seam coming apart (which should be covered by our warranty) we can't get anyone to call back....DO NOT BUY from Arhaus. read more

Buyers beware! Furniture is excellent quality but the service is TERRIBLE! Arhaus sticks it to you with delivery fees! The delivery team "lost" my furniture and it has taken them 3 months to deliver. You are suppose to automatically know this because NO ONE calls you back or informs you of the whereabouts of your purchase. Arhaus sells quality and unique pieces and I've bought many things here and I don't have a single complaint. The fabrics I've chosen have always worn well and as I'm about to redecorate I hope to add some more unique pieces I realize it's pricey but I'd rather buy quality pieces and have them for years to come. I have shopped at the Louisville, KY location several times. Most recently I was in the market for a sofa and rug. Within a couple minutes, I was pleasantly greeted by an associate. She immediately helped me put together a few different options that would work in our home and within our budget. She printed out pictures, provided swatch samples, and created a room layout for me to take home and compare with my existing furniture. I returned the next day to purchase exactly what I was in search of plus another rug and mirror because of the excellent service and options I was given. Arhaus provides quality furniture that lasts for years. Sure, you can find expensive pieces, but you can also find the same quality pieces within your budget if you look at the options they provide in fabrics and style. read more

Terrible customer service since moving from Mall St Matthews to Oxmoor mall. I've been in several times since they've moved (3x's in last 2 wks) and there's never a salesperson on the floor. Arhaus is my first choice when buying furniture. If you wanted quality, this is the place. I've had the occasional snark or eyebrow raise when talking about where I buy my furniture but, like most things in life, you get what you pay for. My dinning room table is made from an old boat, I have a bench from a fallen barn and a bookcase from recycled mango wood. You may think you're spending a lot upfront however in my case, I like timeless not trendy furniture, therefore I do not plan on ever buying another dinning room table! I've also bought two sofas, a chair and my bed. Their beds are very well priced, actually I found one similar to mine in the Sundance Catalog that was $1000 more! If you're into leather, they buy theirs recycled. Each piece is truly unique. It's important to me how things are made, Arhaus offers well crafted quality pieces. The furniture might look lovely in the store and catalog, but it's anything but when it arrives at your home. Arhaus tried to deliver a dresser four, yes, four times with broken mirrors. I finally canceled the order. I ordered several full rooms of furniture and many pieces arrived damaged. The replacement pieces also arrived damaged. I have had at least eight deliveries and I am still not whole. Unless you enjoy headaches and waiting at home for deliveries I would take my purchases elsewhere. read more

Similar to other reviews, the problem with Arhaus is nonexistent customer service after the sale. They're helpful and attentive until you place your order - then you can forget about any follow up as to status or interest in whether you received your purchase or if it was in good condition. Ordered an expensive sectional sofa 6 months ago - they prepared me for the lengthy wait due to COVID manufacturing and supply chain issues which I had no trouble with. My 'designer' Laurie never checked in with me over six months, but whatever. Finally she calls to say my sectional is on its way and needed to collect the final balance. Great! I happily paid the balance and asked when I could expect delivery - the delivery company would contact me within a few days she says and that I can call the store if I don't hear from them within a week. That was over 3 weeks ago. I've called the store several times and get conflicting info from each person I speak to. Have yet to get a call from Laurie to check on things and the store manager, Danielle, hung up on me when I asked for contact info to reach a general manager. I still have no idea when I'll get my furniture. Coincidentally my sister ordered a similar sofa from another area store with a slightly lower price point as Arhaus at the same time I did. I special ordered a Castello table from the Louisville, KY store in January, 2020. I have completely paid for this very expensive special order table. It arrived to my home in December severely damaged. In fact, it was too unsafe for the delivery workers to even attempt to place it in my home. It was returned and reordered THIS January, 2021. I was told by the store manager, Danyelle, the table would arrive on 3/28/2021. The store manager has just informed me it has yet, AGAIN, been delayed! I have escalated this to two resolution specialist and the district manager. The company has given me a discount to apease my dissatisfaction. What a farce this company is. There is absolutly no way I would waste your time going into this store and purchasing anything from them. We have purchased many pieces in the past from Arhaus. In January we purchased the Athens 4 piece bookshelves. We went into the store February and worked with a design consultant. We ended up purchasing a Garner sectional and Rio Chair. The furniture was delivered May 10. The delivery team informed us one of the interior shelves did not fit. We called the design consultant and she said go ahead and keep the Athens 4 piece rather than declining delivery and she would make sure to correct the piece with the interior shelf working with Concierge. They sent a tech out June 27th after repeated conversations with the design consultant and me calling the concierge. The tech said he could shave the shelf, but would not recommend since this is brand new piece of furniture and the shelf would not look the same or be same size as the other shelves. The issue was with the actual bookcase not being correct dimensions. The design consultant ensured us she was going to take care of it immediately and order a new bookcase to have delivered asap. During this time, we found the sectional couches connectors do not work. It never connected correctly, which caused the couch to continually scratch our hard wood floors since the floor protector was also missing (nail sticking out of bottom), not to mention NOT CONNECTING. We immediately informed the design consultant who said she would word with Concierge to get this fixed immediately. It is now August 10th!!! This is unacceptable. We still have a bookcase without a fitting shelf and sectional that does not connect and a nail sticking out of the bottom! Again, we have purchased many other items (tables, chairs, cabinets, end tables, etc.) in the past and everything went great, but this has been such a horrible experience with the local store and concierge team that we will not be returning. We are trying to spread the word to go somewhere else for furniture until Arhaus can perform and overhaul with their Concierge department and store design consultants. This is absolutely unreasonable and absurd to order furniture Jan / Feb then have delivered May 10th and now AUGUST to be waiting for them correct and or deliver furniture that should have bookcases with correct dimensions for shelves and a sectional that connects and has the floor protectors attached. I thought Arhaus was supposed to be a higher end furniture store, but I was definitely mistaken. Update.... it is now September 12th and they finally delivered the new Athens today. We are still waiting on the sectional and floor to be fixed. It is now NOVEMBER and we are waiting on our floor to be fixed. read more

shame on us. we ordered several items for a new home, and there were at least four mistakes: first wrong item was ordered by store, then wrong large item delivered but delivery had to leave it with us for about six weeks before the right item could be delivered. then one dining room chair was wrong, then chairs had scratches, dining room table was very late, and now we were told items were "in stock" but delivery has taken 6 weeks and its not here yet....terrible service - they are nice, but don't know how to deliver their orders. as I said, shame on us for thinking this in stock order would be easier and arrive when promised. very frustrated by this experience for last six months. read more

I ordered my furniture on May 14,2016 and it is set to FINALLY be delivered tomorrow, August 4,2016. I also placed another order on 6/05/2016 for 6 dining chairs and the EATON Grand Sette. I was told that they would all be delivered together, so I planned a large dinner party for 8/13/2016. I was just told over the phone, after I called in to check the delivery status, that NONE of the dining chairs will be delivered until at the earliest the last week of August. UGH!!!!!! I am praying that the fabric is right when the couches are delivered tomorrow, because a good friend of mine just told me her horror story yesterday of having to send back a couch 4X at Arhaus and it was NEVER the right fabric, so she finally settled for a gift card from the store. Seriously, when you spend $16,000 on two rooms of furniture, you'd expect the experience to be MUCH better than this.
