I had no idea what Argos was when I was pointed it in its direction by a friend. I was on the hunt for a cheap toaster. I walked into the store and was a little bit confused. There were desks lined up at the front with huuuuge catalogs on them. Next to the catalogs were these numeric keypads. The process goes like this: you find the items you want, key in their codes and when you're done you get a list of the items. You give it to the staff, they collect the items from the warehouse and bring them to you. It's kind of unusual, but it works!
