So glad we ended up at this place for lunch! We were driving around looking for arepas, and saw good reviews for this restaurant on Google so we decided to stop by. We were a little hesitant at first because it's located inside the Shell gas station, but the gas station was super clean and organized, the parking wasn't a problem for us (we got a spot in the front right away), and the restaurant is towards the back and also very clean and separated nicely. There are tables for you to sit and enjoy your food. We ordered ours to go, but we sat down while we waited. The food did not take very long to come out. We ordered arepas, chicharrones, and a mondongo soup. They were all very yummy! I recommend getting the garlic cilantro sauce for the arepas. This place actually fills the arepa up with toppings, unlike other places that don't. The staff was SUPER friendly and answered any and all questions we had regarding the menu. I realized while we were there that they are on Uber eats, and I'm excited to order from here and try more things! I would absolutely recommend this place.

I recently tried the cachapas from here They look like pancakes but are made from fresh corn dough, giving them a sweet, delicious flavor. They were tender and slightly crispy, often served with cheese for a savory touch. If you enjoy sweet corn and unique dishes, give cachapas a try!

Malo malo.

Service was not at all friendly, and to top it off they are way too pricey and chicken is very much dry! $21 for a plate of food??? I do not recommend this place at all, there are much better places to get a plate a food that will actually be worth the price with much better taste!

I found this gem here on yelp. It's inside a shell gas station on US-1 and 267 st. I have to tell you with was freaking amazing. I had a café con leche and a carne mechada empanada. While I waited for 3 arepas llanera (picaña and cheese). The empanada was fresh and tasty. The arepas were loaded with meat and very good. There a tables inside the gas station to sit and eat. The service was great as the girls were very nice. Definitely will return. I also learned they have Uber eats.

They are open, and complying with all social distancing, masks and other hygiene/COVID practices. They didn't have cheese, so cachapas were put of the question so we had empanadas 1st round of shredded beef emapanadas: very tasty, sides were perfectly hot, but the center was still frozen. Still, flavor was good Cazon empanadas: a bit salty. Good flavor but it's not "cazón flavor". I liked them but it's not what I was expecting when I ordered cazon. 2nd round of shredded beef empanadas: the temperature of this batch was perfect top to bottom, flavor was even better than when cold, but they were a bit softer than the previous two batches. Service was pretty good, I'll probably come back once the covid crap is over, because that's what has everyone out of their game right now.

    Arepa con queso rallado.

I do not have words to describe this place. This place is by far the best when it comes to Venezuelan cuisine. I enjoy their arepas, cachapas, empanadas, and tequeños so much! Everything is so fresh when it comes to eating here. It's not like other place you go and maybe the arepa is dry or the cheese is not flavorful. No, everything I have had tastes fresh. Good portions, and I feel like I get me moneys worth in quality. I definitely recommend. I haven't found another Venezuelan place with this quality of food down south.

The service is attentive, and the food is excellent -- both in flavor and presentation. It's a place we have genuinely enjoyed visiting. However, during our most recent visit, there were a few concerns that stood out. First, we noticed that the prices listed on the menu did not match the prices on the receipt. While the differences were only a few dollars, it's important for pricing to be transparent and consistent to avoid confusion. We also really enjoyed the live music -- it created a wonderful atmosphere. However, once the band went on break, videos from the same artist played for over an hour. In our opinion, the content seemed directed toward one specific culture. Given that this is South Florida, where multiculturalism is such a big part of the community, it would be great to see entertainment that reflects and embraces a broader audience. Finally, while the food remains very good, the portion sizes feel small for the current pricing. It seems that prices have increased noticeably, and the value does not feel quite as balanced as before.

The meat is always juice and tender never chewy. The server does get wide tracked sometimes but still manages to get to our table when needed. So if you have anything you want to order, make sure to order it while you have then at your table. The environment is family friendly and they sometimes have a mini fair for kids in the back part of the venue. Its not your usually sit down restaurant as it's always in the open but their meats, sausages, and sides are all very good! Love this place. Also, I'd say the prices are pretty fair for the quality you get from it. Hope you enjoy as much as I did!

I ended up ordering the jonronera, which is filled with shredded beef, shredded chicken, ham and cheese, plantains and black beans. Since this empanada is big, I shared it with my friend and split it in half. However, by doing this I didn't get to try some of the stuff in the empanada such as the plantain and shredded beef since that was in my friends half of the empanada. We both felt that rather than having been layered, it should have all been mixed together so that people could have a little bit of everything when splitting. Aside from that though, it was really good. I also have one of their juiced and that was refreshing! The service was good, we had gone there on a busy day apparently because it took 30 minutes to get the coffee my friend ordered. There is enough seats, but it can get a bit crowded in the place. Overall my experience was pleasant and really enjoyed the empana

After two days of driving through snow storms and heavy rain and spending a night sleeping in the truck at a Cracker Barrel just outside Chattanooga, TN, we finally made it to South Florida. We had just arrived to the area and it was a bit late. We were driving through Homestead, FL. We were hungry looking for something to eat. We saw an open food stand serving Venezuelan food. My wife being Venezuelan, and my favorite food being a Cachapa, we hooked a u-turn and headed back to the food stand. I ordered the Venezuelan hamburger (Burger La Tuyera) and my wife ordered the Barrilla (mixed BBQ). This was the first time I have had a Venezuelan hamburger. It was a huge hamburger (see the pics). It had sausage, an egg, cheese (queso de mano), corn... it was awesome. My wife loved her order. She had been saying she could not wait to get down to Miami to get some delicious arepas. The selection of meats in mixed BBQ tasted great and were cooked perfectly. The arepitas tasted awesome. The food here at this food stand was definitely worth doing a u-turn for. The couple running the food stand were very friendly and welcoming. We will be returning another day to try out their cachapas!!

I have to return and try their burgers or carne en vara!!! 100 recommended!
