I'm happy to be the guy to get them a Yelp! listing and author the first review. I couldn't find a lot about what the actual experience was like in the theater - dinner or show - but I'd read 2 good reviews of Frost/Nixon in the local entertainment weekly. That helped to ease my anxiety and man, am I glad we came. We got their around 7:45 pm for an 8 pm show, never mind dinner started at 7:15 pm. No matter, we got seated and our salad was waiting for us. We got our entrees including vegetable lasagna for my wife, which were quite satisfactory. (And for $35 per ticket you're getting more than what you paid for!) There are 14 round tables and the intimate confines seat about 100. The vibe is casual and very unstuffy.
Now on to the show. Frost/Nixon was well cast and very well acted. I loved the stagecraft. They really maximized the usage of a relatively small stage and there was some multimedia, live video and recorded footage, that added a lot to the production. Two thumbs way up. read more
