A few deciding factors were: professionalism in their communication and clarifying questions as well as responsiveness. Everyone we spoke to and met were such a pleasure to deal with; empathetic to out situation and willing to work with our very tight timelines. The staff were receptive to our many emails and phone calls as well (very patient)! The surveyors were early for our appointments and super thorough. I also just received a digital copy of the survey (hard copies will be mailed) and it looks better than some other surveys i've seen. They are also one of the few places that offer stakeout surveys as well as location surveys!

My life is a total sitcom. After living in peace for over 20 years, I started having trouble with…read morethe old neighbor to my left and a new neighbor to my right. Frustrated, I decided to hire a surveyor in 2022, both to be perfectly sure where the boundaries of my property lay before putting up barriers, but also as a form of insurance against potential future disputes. I picked Perfect Point Land sight unseen and requested a quote. The quote I was given was reasonable, and we made an appointment. I don't remember what the actual quote was (this was some time ago), but it wasn't anything crazy for this type of job, so I agreed to it. PPL came out to the property right on schedule and early in the morning. When the survey was done, a stake was placed in the garden, and in concrete areas, an X highlighted with yellow spraypaint. I spoke with the members of the team and they explained where the boundaries of the property were in clear terms. But of course, I needed a hard copy, so I was emailed both a .pdf and given a nice print by snail mail, free of charge. (You can see copy in gallery, with information blanked out.) I don't know what the rates are in 2022 with inflation, but if you currently have issues with neighbors and such, it's worth every penny and it's one of those things you should have done anyway if you own property.

We are beyond grateful that our architect recommended that we use the Ferrantello Group. Our…read morearchitect assured us that they are a solid company and fairly priced. He personally knows the owner, Frank Ferrantello, and also had a long relationship with Frank's dad. We had our property staked out several months ago. More recently a discrepancy ensued between our survey and the so-called "survey" obtained by the adjacent property. We learned earned the hard way that there are a lot of really shoddy surveyor companies around. It's shocking, we know, but true. They promise you a real "deal" if you use them, but then you just end up paying way more later because while they may give you your "survey" they don't back up their survey with actual reference points and then when your property is in jeopardy of being encroached upon they don't answer the phone and can't be reached. If the price looks suspiciously good...there's probably a good reason for that. You get what you pay for. We felt very vulnerable when this happened to us and Farrentello Group surveyors were THERE for us. They were professional and HONEST and very very knowledgeable. It's a family business and they are in this business for years. Frank is a real human being; a mentch :) I told him that recently and his response was that his name is on the line. Literally. We don't normally post on social media but we feel there is widespread injustice being done to unsuspecting consumers and at the end of the day we will sleep better knowing we at least tried to get the word out. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish. Protect your land as it deserves to be.

This architect is disgustingly unprofessional and more importantly, a bad person. He was 15 minutes late to our meeting, walked in while I was speaking to his co workers, Jasmine and Dong, and was completely dismissive about the entire meeting. When I started to ask him about the next steps to move forward, like how to pull permits and the pricing for the design, he completely FLIPPED out telling me why would he pull permits when that's the contractor's job? I was a bit taken aback since my previous architect pulled permits alongside my contractor. He then started to allege that I use unlicensed contractors. I started to wonder what he was getting at and why he was being such a rude jerk. He then had the nerve to pull out the BIS gov website and ask me about the contractor I used and the address. When I tried to tell him the architect firm, he got very angry and said why would I care about the architect? HELLO! You asked who pulled the permits! He found my previous project and everything was up to code. This guy is disgusting. There is NP way he's a legit architect because he doesn't have any skills on how to speak to clients. Stay away. You can find architects who pull permits alongside the contractors. This means he has very bad relationships with the DOB.
