This was NEVER mentioned that our policy was contingent on tree removal (which we did!). They never asked us if it was cut down, just cancelled the policy and said it was because we never told them. A mess that took a while to clean up, but fine. Strike 1. Halfway through the year, they raise our premium. Strike 2. In the policy renewal, they raise our premiums 20-30% with no explanation or prior notice. When I ask, they said something inane like "inflation" and "adjusted rates". Strike 3. So we go change our insurance and give them notice. Then they prematurely cancel our policy before the new policy goes into effect. WHAT THE HECK?! This is unprofessional, disrespectful and outright malicious. We have never had a claim on the home, and the only claim on the car was due to us being rear-ended while parked in traffic. If you're looking for an agent, save yourself the trouble and find anyone else.
