There was a table outside available just as I approached the place so I was fortunate enough to not have to wait. The space inside is very small and only about 4 small tables on the outside so be prepared to potentially wait. I simply put in my order for the Pesto di Pistachio Pasta and Hugo Spritz and people watched while I waited. The spritz came quickly so I enjoyed the refreshing spritz while waiting for my pasta. When I got my order and took that first bite...pure bliss. The al dente pasta and the subtle pistachio pesto flavor was delicious. Bite after bite and sip after sip, the whole experience on that outdoor table while watching the time pass was relaxing and satisfying. As I dined, I saw more and more people come and wait and I learned they have another location very close by. The waiter would walk them over to that location if they so pleased. The staff mainly speak Italian so be prepared for a language barrier. However, they were all very patient and friendly so no need to worry :)

Brioche - The brioche here is light and delicious, served warm, and is an amazing accompaniment to granitas. Definitely order one to balance out the granita if it gets too cold. Arancini - The ragu arancini is absolutely amazing. It was actually the better of the three items ordered in my opinion. I came for the desserts, but found myself fully enjoying this item more. The ragu is hearty and the flavors robust. A masticating delight of flavors. If you're not a smoker, definitely try to top for a seat indoors. Sitting outdoors will likely expose you to several patrons and even passersby or individuals sitting on nearby benches to cigarette smoke. Overall, the food and desserts here are amazing. Bambam is good if you like granitas, but my experience is that it's a tourist trap and the staff is cringeworthingly annoyed if you ask a question. Christina has way better prices, a bunch of good options, is efficient if you have lots of activities planned and need a spot to in/out quickly, and the staff is friendly. Very grateful we found this place early. There is also a focaccia spot up the street with a similar story - Limoncello spritz and focaccia (don't think theyre connected but 8$ focaccia that is light and fresh, workers are also very friendly). While we were there, saw so many people pass by, glance and walk out likely because it didn't have the glamour of a long line, trust a stranger that researched sicily for months before coming, don't make that mistake here. Chuck 3$ of your likely thousands budget, gamble and youll know exactly what I mean.
