I always liked this ARCO - yes a gas station is a gas station and nothing special. You go insert your credit card, pump gas, grab a snack every now and then, and go. There is really no "service" expected at any gas station.... hence looking for the cheapest price is it... and this ARCO delivers, always with the cheapest gas around. For example for today 9/5/2023, gas is $4.85 cash/ $4.95 credit VS $5.15 cash/ $5.35 credit right across the street at 76! his review is based on my experiences at the Arco car wash over the past year. The car wash has been decent, getting the car clean enough. They offer a subscription service through EverWash for around $30 a month for their top-tier wash, but in my opinion, the car will look just as good with the cheapest option. Usually, someone is rinsing the car before it goes in to help the wash process. However, the quality has declined significantly over the past year. The tire wash doesn't clean the wheels at all, and the spinning brushes keep folding my mirrors in. The blow dryer at the end is inefficient and doesn't dry the car properly. The only positive is that the vacuums have been free. During my last wash, I encountered several issues. When I entered, the water shooting mechanism failed, leaving my car dirtier than before. The employee was completely unaware of the problem, and the owner was even less helpful. I requested a machine inspection and a car wash, but the owner insisted on a 5-minute wait to fix the machine, which turned into nearly 40 minutes without any progress. To my dismay, the machine was indeed broken. The owner was forcing the employee to wash my car with just the pressure washer which I thought was unfair to the employee whose job is to just guide the car wash. I declined and went to the car wash up the street by UCR. As a result, I had to drive down the street to wash my car myself, incurring additional expenses on top of my subscription service. I think I'll be terminating my subscription here. read more

The sign outside said I would get $4.99 per when paying in cash. The pump charged me $5.09. I went in there THREE times for the to fix it and claims that I got the gas for $4.89 where the pump clearly says other wise. Plus the language barrier was not helpful. The station charges everyone the credit price. I saw a bunch of gardeners paying cash for their gas and they were charged the credit price. I went and paid cash for my gas and was also charged the credit price. I went in and asked for my the difference back (10 cents per gallon) and without hesitation, the guy opened up the register and gave me the money - so they know that they're doing it and will give money back if you ask but I think this is criminal. All of the gardeners didn't ask for the money back and I think they're being taken advantage of. This is a terrible gas station and I have reported it to the Fuel price complaints website. They have tried to say car wash is required to get the lower price but it is hidden on just some of their posted prices. read more

This Arco is rather tricky to get in and out of with the 60 Freeway and Blaine Ave. This was one of the cheapest Top Tier gas stations by this side of town. They've upgraded their pumps so that Debit/Gift Card users can now pay at the pump. Pumps were in good working order. Squeegees and paper towels were available. read more

I had the worse customer service at store # 42888 in riverside off the 60 frwy and Blaine street .by cashier Trisha. She overcharged my debit card $23. For a .99 cent soda . She told me it was my fault for not check the screen to confirm the price then refused to refund me money and proceded to leave the register. She walked out of the building returned a few minutes later continued helping other customers and still refused to refund my money. I had to go get the car wash attendee to help me . Neither would give me the name or # to the manager. Although the attendee tried calling his manager , no one answered. Used to come here because gas tends to pretty cheap. The cashiers are nice and helpful. The gas quality is pretty bad though. My tank just drains. The check engine light turned on frequently but I couldn't find out what was wrong! Auto Zone told me Arco waters down their gas. So I experimented and used Mobil. The check engine light turned off that same day. I haven't had problems since. I also noticed I get better gas mileage when I don't use Arco. Don't use Arco if you can avoid it! Look for gas stations with top tier gas and more importantly pay attention to your car. Some cars do well with Arco but others don't, especially if Arco is watering down their gas. read more

So I went here tonight, and the clerk (wearing a turban) that was working, did not acknowledge me when I walked into the store. When I went to the counter to pay for my items, still no "Hello!" He see's a card in my hand, and asks me if I'm paying with a card, I then told him "Yes" , and handed him my card. The part that got me to 5 seconds away from cussing his a** out, is that he places my card on top of my items, instead of handing it back to me, the same way I handed it to him. After realizing that the bill was fake, I tried to exchange it with a real bill but was told that I was trying to scam the store. I couldn't believe it. Rated cheapest gas in Riverside by the Press enterprise. This is the newest arco/am-pm location this side of town. Easy access to all the major freeways. 91, 215, 60. I believe arco is the ONLY gas station where you can pay with cash! You can also pay at the pump as usual too, store doesn't have to be open, but this specific location is 24 hours! Tons of snacks to choose from. ATM inside, along with public bathroom. Air/water machine is out back. Station employees nice and helpful. Top tier gas at competitive prices will keep this location here for a long time. read more
