I was just at this Arco today. I went to Costco for gas first but my membership had just expired and I didn't want to take the time to go into the store to renew, so just drove to Arco. When I arrived I had to drive around the pumps a couple times because several had the yellow tape on the nozzles indicating they were out of order. I waited for another car to leave a pump and when I inserted my debit card, it did nothing. I tried 4 or 5 more times before going into the store to pay. I told the attendant what happened and she said that sometimes the card readers just get too hot. Then do something about it!! Two stars for the decent price per gallon, and the convenient location, and the fact that there's a Starbucks next door. read more

Waited 15 mins, new guy comes out saying had to take a shit, me and some lady were waiting, she said he was on Empty but left. So the employee started saying well it was along shot I called bill shit and he started saying how much more important I was sarcastically. I remember when this was first built and the first few years that they were there, this was the go to gas station to compete with a higher price gas stations. Not only did they have fuel, they had their market and a drive-through car wash. These days, there are a lot of hidden fees when you use your card that are not mentioned on their boards. Although they may be a few cents less expensive than the larger gas stations, I do not particularly recommend coming to this gas station. It's convenient lies in the sense that is right next to some of the most driven roads in this part of the Redlands area. However, this place seems to decline with several pumps being unavailable, garbage piling up and it's decline from its glory days. It would take a lot for me to have to come by here again in the future. I do hope that they would make someimprovements for the future of their business. read more

Great location, always clean and the staff are always helpul and friendly. Only 2 major downsides to this AM/PM is that everytime I go fill up it's like playing Russian roulette with pay at pump machines because half the time some of them don't work. How this place has gone downhill. It constantly smells like rotten fruit from the boxes of melons sitting in the doorway. The worst thing about this station, which makes me steer clear of this place unless I'm in a dire coffee emergency, is the jackals roaming the pumps. They lure you in with a free window washing, then incessantly harass you to buy their window repair service, or their highly overpriced foam wax crap. One guy sprayed it on my car even though I told him not to. Whoever runs this station is woefully out of touch with customer service. I don't pay with ATM cards at the pump because of hacking issues I've had in this area. I'm often amazed at the Idiocracy... I tend to use cash cards...pre paid gas. It's usually easy and I get in and out fast... I had a card with 4.50 left... obviously I want more than that in gas...so I added another 40 in cash. Silly me the car only took 37.75... we had to dig through the trash to find my old card, because even though I used 37.75 in gas...the money on the 4.50 card was not the portion used??? Arco has some of the cheapest gas prices in the area not counting Sam's Club and Costco, but there are downsides here. First, they don't accept credit. That by itself may not matter much, but those quick and convenient kiosks on the islands between the pumps are almost always out of order in my experience. So if you're looking to pump in a hurry without going inside, you may want to go elsewhere. I've no idea why they can't keep those things running. All the other Arcos in the area seem to be able to. read more

The worst gas station in Redlands finally upgraded their pumps to allow you to pay via debit without having to go inside. However, the system is incredibly slow. Are they using dialup to approve transactions? Not only do you have to wait for it to all go through, your transaction is paused to see if you want a car wash. so as much time as it took for me to go through the process, I could've just went inside and paid and it would've been the same amount of time. read more

This is for the carwash. I waited in line for 15min. Paid, then it didn't work. I literally had to leave my car in the carwash, ticking off everyone behind me, to go inform the worker. The lady told me to just drive through or wait 20min when someone returned and could help me. Since everyone behind me was annoyed I just drove through, parked, and waited for her to at least give me a new code, hesitant to give me the full amount I actually paid (the machine doesn't print receipts -.-). She acted like it was my fault, which made it even more frustrating. I then drove around and waited another 20min. to get the original carwash. Super frustrating! read more

Great store with good employes. The car wash just sucks I got the 7$ car wash and It didn't even clean my truck the wheels and tires were still dirty and so was all the trim. Might work good for a honda civic but for a truck it doesn't do much. read more

Pull into the gas station at 10 PM on a Friday night and they say that they're closed and won't open again for another 10 minutes.

This is a new gas station and when I pulled up to the gas pump they were giving free windshield cleaning and the girl noticed a crack I didn't and now I'm taking it to the dealer to have it checked out but she did offer a promotion deal and the cashier was really nice and the place is super clean. Hopefully it maintains that way which I'm sure it will :) read more

The worst thing about this Barton Road gas station is the poor quality of ARCO gas they sell. I have used only ARCO gasoline (almost always from this gas station) because I thought it was good quality gas for the price from a gigantic corporation: "NOT!" ARCO gasoline turned my spark plugs red with it's un-burned additives; what else has it done to my engine with deposits that shouldn't be in there? (!) I know that a lot of people use this gas station for convenience sake but I need to say that I live in Redlands grew up in Loma Linda this is the absolute worst for service and for consistency every single time that I decide to stop there pump and pay is not working when I go in they are not apologetic they when asked to speak to the manager were rude to me and I just simply wanted them to do better job at communicating with their customers when things are not working. I need the convenience of driving up into a gas station nowadays is that you can pay at the pump and keep going quickly not that were standing in some line inside when we don't need to! Takes forever to load from screen to screen and ask you a million questions. And don't go during shift change because it takes 45minutes until you can pump gas, wtf. I just paid for a $7 car wash and got pretty much nothing. The car wash sprayed my car, then stopped. I waited a minute or two. Nothing happened. I drove out and pulled into a pump to press the "speak to an attendant button". I had three kids under 3.5 yrs old in the car, two of which were asleep, and I couldn't leave them alone in the hot car. I pressed the button a total of three times, waiting a minute or two in between each press for an answer. No one answered. I called the station and spoke to a female employee, I explained why I couldn't come in and she agreed to come out to the car to speak with me. She looked over my car as if to check my story. It was obvious that it had not been washed but was covered in droplets from getting sprayed. She went inside to check her sensors and said that her sensors didn't show anything and that she didn't know what I had done to cause it to malfunction but there was nothing she could do. I've been through that car wash before, it's not that complicated. She went through several versions of that, saying she had been out there when people didn't know what to do and didn't know what I could have done to keep it from working. Is "blame the customer" the new customer service mantra? I asked her if she could just give me a code to go through the car wash again. "No," was her reply. No code, no refund, nothing. This is a terrible customer service/refund policy. When I called the number she suggested, I found out that it was the number for Tesoro, the company who supplies the gas for the gas pumps and there was no refund coming from them, obviously. At least that customer service rep offered to submit a complaint on my behalf. What a disappointing, frustrating, ridiculous waste of time and money. I probably burned 20-30 mins in total, between waiting in line for the car wash and all the ensuing discussion. read more
