They are quick to get your order if you eat outside or are getting pastries to go inside. The space is nice and the outdoor seating area is the better option. I would recommend one of the regional pastries such as fruta de Algarve, which are similar to soft marzipan with a thick egg yolk and sugar mixture in the middle. It's not like marzipan in the States and a lot softer and has a better texture and flavor. The other would be the Dom Rodrigo, which comes in a little colorful foil packet. It's an egg yolk and sugar mixture that is in thin strings layered on top of each other and swimming in a simple syrup. It might be too sweet for some.

There are two cues, one to order for takeout and a second to eat either inside or outside. We loved their pastries and service was amazing!! The servers were quick and my favorite has been Pedro who took the time to explain things to us. I only had one meal in Vilamoura that was as good as this, and that was at it's sister business just behind the Marina. Highly recommended for lunch or pastries.

A bit cinnamon on top, and super freshly baked, this is very good. So good I bought a dozen to share with friends, did I also mention they are also CHEAP. The staff are friendly and you can tell they have a tight operation here. Let's just say, if the turnaround of pastries is so quick, that you see staff bringing it straight out as they are made, it must be a good thing.

We are a family of 5 - 3 adults and 2 kids under 10, and the staff was super attentive and friendly. They did a great job communicating with us considering we all spoke English. It was a treat that the menu came in Portuguese, French and English It is a beautiful shop, and in addition to the food looking like a work of art - it tasted delicious! Everything was super fresh and uncomplicated/unprocessed. For breakfast we tried some spiked coffee and fresh juices. The adults ordered Eggs Benedict with parma ham or smoked salmon. The kids got a "make your own breakfast" of yogurt with granola and fresh fruit, and a croissant with a chocolate spread. We also got pastries to go for dessert later; a beetroot cream filled roll, fruit and custard pastry, lemon bar, cookie, and the lightest whipped cheesecake I've ever tasted. The only downside to the whole experience is that they are closed on Tuesdays (which really isn't a downside, people do deserve a day off)
