The day before the appointment she contacted me and asked if I was still going to make the appointment. I confirmed that I would. Later that same day she sent an email canceling the appointment and asked what I would have available for a new appointment. I replied that I could meet the next day. It has now been over a week and she has never responded or tried to contact me to reschedule. It appears that a 70 to 100 thousand dollar addition is too small for her to bother with. I suggest finding another architect for your projects.

She listened to what we wanted, sketched out a few ideas for us to choose from (we could mix and match) and then put together some spectacular plans based on what we selected. She came up with ways of accomplishing our wishlist that we thought were really going to remain just dreams because they would be too expensive to execute. (We are very experienced DIYers.). She noodled things out and came up with practical but cost effective ways of giving us everything we wanted. The results, now completed, are incredible. During construction of The Banks project, workers unearthed an old portion of Cincinnati. In a way,…read moreit was almost like the stories of New York City being build on top of "Old York City." Breaking way through the pavement lay the foundations of Cincinnati businesses and residences from the 1800s. That's where Gray & Pape came in. Gray & Pape is a historic preservation company that specializes in Archaeology and Architectural History. Construction on The Banks was halted while artifacts were excavated from Old Cincinnati. During the weekend, Gray & Pape held an event for the public to come out and view the site, as well as many of the artifacts they had unearthed: - Dishware - Rookwood Tile - Kettles - Beer bottles - Griddle - Wheel rim It was amazing to have the chance to view a part of Cincinnati history first hand. As for the site, Old Cincinnati was buried under a layer of asphalt as The Banks proceeded to be built. Maybe the next generation of Gray & Pape will rediscover the site in another 200 years.
