I was a bit skeptical upon accepting the position; however, I…read morerealized something very important, the Director truly does care about the students and so do the teachers. The academy has improved its practices, teaching methods, teacher-student relationships, and the school is truly focused on providing a successful path for each student. I am not here to argue the past, say it didn't happen, nor deny that it was handled correctly; however, I am here to say that the students are achieving their goals, and they are being held to higher standard. I have enjoyed teaching at the academy and the students, faculty and staff have bonded with the students more than ever before. I look forward to seeing more students graduate and move on to be successful citizens in our country. Thanks!
