    Extra cheese sauce $.63
    Nancy E.

I was really excited to try the pretzel roll roast beef sandwich. Actually left the restaurant across the street to check it out. Double beef is not available as single beef and not enough cheese sauce. When I asked for more the charges me 63 cents?! Gave me regular cheddar which I corrected should be beer cheddar. And served cold. Roll was good, warmed sauce was good, beef was regular Arby's roast beef. Staff wasn't very engaging. Not helpful or friendly. Strictly civil.

was given Diet Coke instead of regular Coke. The food was cold and it looked like it had mold on the roast beef.

Worst Arby's I've been too. Bread was stale and sandwich wasn't close to what I ordered.

Everybody has their own opinion of what a cheesesteak and homemade French fries should taste like…read moreand here's my all time fave VOTED #1 in the LEHIGH VALLEY. for the past several years by the public poll. First off, I was raised around food service and restaurant businesses and have particularly high standards. The ROLL should be FRESH if not crusty exterior and warm inside. The steak meat should be mixed with some type of American or Provolone, Pepper Jack and onions, peppers, mushrooms or without. Hold the salt; the cheese is full of salt. Then add a nice wide drizzle of marinara or red sauce across the top and VOILA! Add a huge bag of fresh cut French fries to the mix and it's a ridiculously awesome combo that NO CHEESESTEAK PLACE can beat! That's what this place serves consistently each visit! Although it may be tucked behind the now destructed NEWBURG INN over off of route 191, that travel time will be worth every bite. This place will impress even the pickiest of critics. Give it a go.

I ordered the cheesesteak special; 10" cheesesteak, fries, and drink for $12.49. Definitely a great deal! I got my cheesesteak with American cheese, onions, and mushrooms. They didn't skimp on the meat and it tasted great. A better roll and more cheese would have put it in the 8s. Newburg Deli is strictly a grab and go. There is no dining room and there is no delivery. I first found Giacomo's when I moved from Jersey to the Lehigh Valley more than 20 years ago. Long…read morebefore the sons of the original owner opened the Market and Grill in College Hill. Raised in Brooklyn, NY for 20 years, my expectations were low. The old man closed his store and retired and I discovered the tradition moved forward in the new College Hill store. The original Giacomo's was not a grill, but the old man (whose name escapes me), knew how to make sausage. Imported cheeses and olives with bread brought in from NYC made this a no brainer for folks like me. The old man couldn't retire and he came in just to make the sausage - of which the thin (pictured) parsley and cheese sells out the same day quite often. My favorite - though the other varieties are top notch too. I heard he still makes the sausage today but I can't confirm or deny that. Having moved to Naples, FL and then Myrtle Beach, SC - I had long forgotton Giacomo"s. Now back in PA (Allentown), I recently wanted good ravioli. The company that make the best ravioli in the world is Pastosa's. I went to their website and saw they opend a bunch of stores in both NY and NJ. I had just about talked myself into an hour or more ride when I found they also sold at select retailers. Wouldn't you know Giacomo's is one of them. My car drove itsel to Giacomo's and I got a box of the large ravioli, a bag of home made meatballs, and a qusrt of homeade tomato sauce. OMG - Pastosa still make the best ravioli in the world. And Giacomo's seel the full line including a bunch of ravioli varities, stuffed shells, manicoti and more.Of course I picked up some Italian specialties along the way while there. HEAVEN! Don't go hungry and bring plenty of money - because it's easy to drop a hundred dollars there and you'll have ZERO buyers remorse. Check out their website ba cause this review just scratches the surface of all the authentic Italian delicacies they have. Don't forget Junior's Cheescake - Simply The Best!
