If you've ever had a BLT on a hoagie roll, you know that doesn't really work. Setting the order mix-up aside -- mistakes happen -- the sandwiches themselves just weren't very good. The meat-lettuce-mayo ratio across all of them was off, to the point where they felt like they were about 70% lettuce. The bread was also stale and crumbly. Hmmmm...okay! We got both. The breakfast sandwich (BEC) was on a Portuguese style roll. A ton of egg on this, and I'd say an adequate amount of bacon. The ratio of this just didn't feel right though, I would have liked either less egg, or another slice or two of bacon and another slice of cheese in the middle of all that egg. Not bad, not great. The cheesesteak was pretty good. I enjoyed the meat and the seasonings. The meat to cheese ratio (no cooper, they use American) was good. The onions were larger than I like but they were sautéed enough that it didn't mess with the bite of the sandwich. The roll though...was not a winner for me. It was soft on top of soft, and some people love that, but for me I need a crusty exterior to my cheesesteak roll. If this was on a different roll, this sandwich is a very good one.
