9 of us ate here last night. Waiter got 3 starters incorrect…read more( 2 soup instead of salad prix fix , we asked to share fois gras but apparently given 1 serving each). At the end of the night waiter came to the head of the table announced to everyone that he had made an error with the fois gras and the money would come out of his wages if we did not pay for 2 starters ( though ordered 1). I have NEVER been put in such an awkward position. The waiter also quietly notified 1 of our group that the chef was his brother. I felt totally manipulated /abused into paying a 2nd starter that was not ordered. I'm sorry that I paid it as in retrospect there is nothing that tells me that behaviors will change. Staffs are friendly. They have a standard set menu at €28. For the set menu, you can pick an appetiser, a main course, and a dessert. There are three appetisers to choose from, three entree, and two different desserts to choose from. Foie gras is rich and smooth. Beef is cooked just right. The snail dish requires a bit more seasoning. Fish is grilled nicely and perfectly as the entire fish even the skin is fully intact without any bits and pieces falling apart. Cuttlefish has a lot of moisture and the taste is balanced well with a touch of seasoning. However, the presentation of the lobster dish is weird. Overall dishes are done well, presentation of each dish is good. Value of the menu compared to the quality and quantity of each is fair. The design of complimentary sides that comes together for each dish is a bit boring as they are exactingly the same.

If ever you have a chance to go there it is well worth a side trip from Limoux.
