Looks are very deceiving. This apartment complex is honestly horrible and very money hungry. We've had problems before we even moved in(definitely a red flag that was ignore). We have been here a little over a year now. When we were trying to move in, they said we'd have one of the best luxury apartments in the complex, only to find they were trying to give us a basic one and to sign the lease before even looking at it. We know better than that, of course we looked at it and got what we were advertised and PAID for. A month after moving in we had AC problem and plumbing issues. The problem is, it went on for another month or 2, while we're on the 3rd floor, in the beginning/middle of the summer. It effortlessly risen up to 80 degrees maybe even more for a whole month and a half straight. When I complained to them they said "well there's a list and you'll have to be added", and when I mentioned the electric bill increased, just to maintain THAT temperature. They just said "sorry that happened". Literally everyone in that office had given us the run around and kept trying to put in a maintenance request even though it was already supposed to be there. We gotten so fed up, I had to complain to the office manager, which by the way never had any knowledge of the air not working. The tub had clogged on us multiple times, before anyone even got a chance to wash their hair. Why would you rush and put a family on the 3rd floor in a "new" apartment, without checking if everything was good? This is a money hungry apartment complex! The next month, we had several problems with all kind of fly infestations, and more AC problems. First the apt was full of fruit flies, then we had wasp and bee nests surrounding our apartment. We get charged for pest control and I haven't seen them even spray since last summer. Not to mention Every time but once I complained about the wasp or bees, my maintenance request were discarded. Only one time someone actually came out and removed a nest. We had to get our whole AC unit replaced at this point. The next month, we had more plumbing issues. This time it was the toilet and the tub again. Obviously, we had a plunger or 2, but the toilet was that backed up. When we called, they took several days to come, mind you we're in a one bed room (as they can see), and then they had the nerve to ask if we plunged it. The tub was so clogged you couldn't take a shower for more than 5 minutes without it creating bath water. They ended up having to drill plunge the toilet, and snake the tub several times. They tried to say we were putting too much stuff down the drains, but the truth soon came out. The tub had surprisingly never been clean prior to our move in. When the tub was snaked the several times, they kept pulling out straight black hair. No one in my household has that color nor texture of hair. The next day, I tried to take a bath, but the drain stopper wasn't working (it's the silver twist kind). Of course, I called and made a maintenance request, because it really wouldn't screw closed and now I can't take a bath. They said it wasn't a priority so they weren't coming that day so i was forced to figure it out myself. So tell me why we literally just had 2 drain stoppers glued and painted together that didn't even belong nor were cleaned. The paint was really peeling off so I was able to physically lift the drain stopper, only to see this catastrophe. That's how I found out the pieces were just glued and painted together; because the paint pealed up some of the tub and revealed the dirt That looked like had been there for ages. Also , there was so much straight black hair and smut, on the stopper that I was disgusted and demandEd maintenance to come and clean or replace. Till this day we don't have a real drain stopper in the tub, only a dollar store rubber kind with the ring on it. When summer was coming to a end, then they thought it was a good idea to do construction. That was very disorganized Even though they passed out flyers. People were parking everywhere, the fumes are awful, and it took more time than it was supposed to. There was also signs put on the door to move cars or they'd be towed but somehow, theres still a car that's been immobile and sitting there for over a year. For more months than I can count, the trash either wasn't getting picked up on time, or not even picked up at all, but there is a $40 trash fee. There has been new office people or even managers every week. Nothing ever gets put into the system. In January is when things started to go over board. The payment system Had a glitch in it, and we weren't notified until march. Even after speaking with the regional manager, everyone in the office was rude and nasty, including the manager crystal or whoever it was. I had a payment agreement set with the regional manager for personal reasons, and when I tried to come back to give payment. I was literally told "I'm wasting her time and everyone else's time. I could go on read more
