1-Star Review for Lofts by the Lake!…read more As a 51-year-old woman seeking a peaceful home, I rented a 1 bedroom Unit at Lofts by the Lake. Unfortunately, StoneMark Management's actions turned my once peaceful stay into a nightmare. Before my lease even ended, their staff entered my apartment, started painting, and removed all my remaining personal belongings, weeks before my lease ended! They had the audacity to claim I authorized this because they entered my apartment and saw my keys on the counter. Additionally, for nearly two months, the freezer in my apartment was non-functional despite my repeated maintenance requests. On one occasion while I was out of town and still waiting for them to replace the unit, the Management instructed me to remove food so they could switch it out. I explained I was away and if it was okay for them to switch out the minimal items. They assured me this was fine and that they would take care of it. Upon my return, not only did they not change my fridge, but they failed to communicate with me that they weren't able to touch my food. That's fair, but had they informed me, I very easily could have asked a friend or neighbour to come get the remaining groceries and supplements I still had in the barely cold fridge. I contacted them right away through phone, their onsite app, and text messages and not one management staff got back to me to finally come and replace my fridge. I was left without a unit for a total of almost two months. I contacted StoneMark, including their manager Evita, for weeks, but they ignored my calls, dismissed my claims, and falsely stated I approved their actions. I reached out to the owners and still nothing. Their negligence cost me thousands of dollars and immense stress. Other tenants have shared similar frustrations, noting the property's decline due to their lack of management. I'm heartbroken to pursue small claims court, but their refusal to resolve this leaves me no choice. I urge the owner to investigate StoneMark's practices to restore the property's integrity and prevent others from enduring this treatment. I'm open to discussing a fair resolution to recover all my losses but so far, all management admits to is coming in to my apartment and breaking my lease, admitting fault, yet will not cover my losses. I am unfortunately feeling the need to write this to help others and save them the stress that is now happening at Lofts by the Lake.

We moved from Florida and…read morelooked high and low for the best, yet affordable, complexes in the area and are happy we chose West Chase! Chanda was excellent with communication from the very start, which is SUPER important. Communication is a key factor for us when making any decision. She was wonderful and prompt with the application process. After moving in, we are very satisfied with our new place! They did a great job prior to our arrival with the upkeep and maintenance of our unit. I have no idea how it looked prior, but we have no complaints! Our unit is exactly what I had hoped it would be. Modern and beautiful! Also, the convenience of our mail, trash, and vacuums/air for our vehicles is pretty nice! It's all right there. We're excited to use the pool over the summer too! And I must add, maintenance is wonderful as well! We've had a few minor requests since our move-in, but they are on top of it. I feel that this place really does value their residents in every aspect!

Moved into West Chase for a month now and I have to say it's a fantastic apartment complex. The parking is ample, the heat isolation is great, the neighborhood is quiet and the apartment is beautiful. Negative part is internet is really hard to setup, you have to use the spectrum internet they provided thru a very old software. I had to hack my printer to get the printer MAC address to connect it via wifi, it's tedious. Overall I'm glad I moved here.

Legacy Crescent Park - The second trash container when the main compactor was broken, for what seemed like forever unfortunately. Paid $15 a month for trash.

The office staff and the maintenance crew were all very friendly and helpful, however the manager Diana was very unprofessional. When I was living here, you were required to pay a $15 trash fee every month - which I do not have an issue with until the main compactor broke down, was overfilled, smelled disgusting and wasn't fixed for what seemed like forever. The photo attached is the trash container that was brought in when the main one was broken... it was very neglected by the complex. I wouldn't recommend this complex, when there are others that are better. This is just my opinion. After living here, I would not go back to apartment living. Interesting story: around 3 am in March 2022 an intoxicated driver along with some friends drifted around a corner in the complex in front of my apt, jumped the curve and missed the lamp post, and totaled almost 3 cars. He was so incredibly close to hitting my car along with so many others. His two friends took off with bags in their hands and left him behind in the car.

However, after the woman at the front desk smirked and showed no concern when I brought up this issue, I had to post a warning. This has been reported by many people; you can't park after 6 p.m., so if you work late you have to park by the leasing office and walk back to your building, which is not ideal because there's inadequate lighting and no security cameras; random people roaming around. As a trauma survivor, this is triggering for me. I even spoke to someone from corporate two months ago about this, yet nothing has been done so far. So last night, I came home from a long work day and found myself with nowhere to park... This situation is affecting my mental health. I will not put my safety at risk. I selected this complex in the first place because of my safety. Nevertheless, it is of the utmost importance to them. It's impossible to call a place home if all they do is take your money and don't address your valid concerns. As a result of this ongoing issue, I am now required to pay extra for the towing company for an issue that is their responsibility. I am tired of them not seeing the severity of this issue. And yes, you bet I won't be renewing the lease. I will give my money to a place that values the safety of its residents and their concerns. The lack of empathy is what's has me concern, I do not want anyone else to go through this same thing.
