As a first-time homeowner, one of the things that honestly had me second-guessing buying a house…read morewas the yard work. I work in healthcare and routinely put in 12-14 hour days, so the last thing I want to do when I get home is spend my free time mowing, weed eating, and maintaining a yard. I can't even remember the last time I cut grass--it was probably when I was in high school, and let's just say I'm getting pretty close to the half-century mark now! When I moved into my new home, the yard was overgrown and needed immediate attention. I reached out to Yard Dad Services, and Raphael responded the very same day. He came out quickly, provided a fair and reasonable estimate, and got the job done fast. Now Raphael and his crew come by every two weeks, and I couldn't be happier. The quality of work is excellent, the pricing is fair, and the reliability gives me one less thing to worry about. Thank you, Raphael and Yard Dad Services, for making homeownership a little easier and a lot less stressful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable, affordable lawn care. I'll definitely be referring my friends and family!

The experience was absolutely awful. If you need yard work done, avoid this company at all costs…read more They have poor customer service and provide dishonest quotes. They lure you in with a discounted price and verbally promise to complete all work. Once on‑site, they cut corners. Tasks they verbally agreed to include were later claimed to be excluded from the service. To make matters worse, they threatened to call the police if I did not pay. They even claimed they did not inspect the backyard during their quote visit. Excuse me? We explicitly mentioned both front and back yards over the phone, and they confirmed the price covered both yards. I have hired numerous yard‑work contractors before, and this is by far my worst experience. Because their cleanup was incomplete, we requested them to come back for re‑cleaning. After an argument, they did show up to do the additional work. However, during this follow‑up cleanup, they still refused to perform the bush-cutting and debris‑removal they had verbally promised. When we followed up to check on the status, they completely ignored our messages and only kept demanding payment. Too busy to argue further, we simply paid the bill to resolve the situation. Since we do not live at that property, we were vulnerable to their tactics. Full of pitfalls. Stay far away. I am writing this off as an expensive lesson.

I can not say enough good things about this company. We had them sod almost our entire yard - front…read moreand back. We also had them do landscaping in our back yard. Kevin, the owner worked so hard to make sure we got plants that would survive a North Texas summer and also be non toxic to my four dogs. We went on vacation days after the job was done. He went above and beyond to check on the newly planted sod and landscaping. He would text us while we were on vacation to let us know if we needed to water more or less. (We have an app for our sprinkler system). He is polite, patient, honest, kind and professional. If he said his team would be there or do something, they were or did. He is simply a joy to work with. Many other business owners, including another contractor we had working at our home at the same time, could learn a lot from him. This company is our go to for ALL of our landscaping needs. From weekly mowing, to lawn and landscape maintenance, to our future landscaping needs. Thank you Kevin. Thank you to your team. Thank you for being the type of business and business owner we know we can trust. You are a rare find and we are so thankful we found you.
