Asked for gel on both hands and feet. Got gel on hands, regular polish on feet. The two did not match in color but were labeled the same number. Everything was very rushed. They only had two people working and several people waiting for a really long time. Wanted to do pedicure side by side with my friend but that was not an option. We booked ahead of time in hopes of doing that but were not given the option when we got there. They had Fox News going instead of spa music. It was not relaxing. Who wants to listen to the awful news while you're trying to relax for a change? Also, I had a gift card I turned in to pay for the service. We paid then got in the car and tried to decide where to go have dinner. The lady runs outside and says my gift certificate was no good. She said it was too old. There was no expiration date on the card. She explained they had new owners and that there was a sign. I had to go back in and pay the full amount. She then pointed to a sign that was on the back side of a column that I never once saw while I was in there. The experience was stressful and my friend and I won't be going back. My nails, aside from the non matching color, look nice. That's the only positive. read more

Made an appt online and got a confirmation that the request was received, stating a confirmation for the appt would come "shortly." After more than 12 hours, I called to confirm the appt, and was told they don't "look at the online appts." Fine, whatever! Got an appt over the phone and went in. Upon arrival, I showed the gentleman the design I wanted and asked if he could do acrylic nails like the picture. He said he could. However, he didn't do the design. I stopped him as he started to put the top coat on and asked about it. He said it was too late for the design I wanted and he said I could pick a "sticker" to go on top. Fine, whatever! So, just a fair warning, if you want anything specific, I would refrain from going to this establishment. read more

I wish I could give negative five stars. Horrible experience. They left me sitting & forgot about me, let a group of three go ahead of me. When she realized I was still waiting she acted like it was my fault (I had signed in on the sheet and sat down on the sofa in the lobby) The lady that took my old set off shouldn't be allowed to hold a drill~she burned me several times! Then she would giggle and apologize. He finally put my nails on....they closed at 6, I left the salon at 9:30-9:45. Nails went on Sunday and three had popped off by Tuesday. They won't have to worry about stealing anymore money from me! read more

I went here to get a fill and told them I don't need the shape changed or cut down, he changed the entire shape and made the nails entirely too thick. When I told him I wasn't happy with them he told me I could come back and he will fix them for free. When I came back the next day he was very rude when I asked him to soak them off and put on a new set because he cut them down too short. Then after they were soaked off left and worked on some other people's nails who didn't have an appointment. The entire process of getting them re-done took two and a half hours. Whatever you do don't get the "new" powder stuff. It looks so messy and has made some of my fingers bleed. When I asked him to clean them up he half assed it. Very disappointed and will never returned nor recommend this place. On top of everything this damn manicure cost me 40 bucks! They told me this stuff was better than gel. Hopefully this stuff doesn't ruin my nails. read more

This nail spa is everything I ask for in a SPA experience. I was in need of a relaxing afternoon and I was not disappointed. I got a "Coconut Luxury Pedicure ($45) and no luxury was skimped. All together the pedicure lasted 1-1 1/2 hours. The ladies and gentleman were all 3 very personable. I went midday on a Thursday so they were able to see me right away however I'd imagine they get busy in the evenings. She did an amazing job taking care of my cuticles and exfoliating without being too rough. She gave an amazing massage, I specifically asked for a paraffin treatment even though it was out their usual season for those, and they were happy to do it. Not once did I ever feel rushed! Their equipment is high quality and their massage chairs seem very new and quiet. The spa itself is calming and beautiful with no harsh fumes or smells. I highly recommend for a relaxing experience. read more

I am only giving them 2 stars because they were nice. This salon is extremely close to where I live so I thought I would give them a try. 1. I got the dip polish, I've had this done many times from other salons, usually they do a clear coat and then dip and repeat this process of painting clear and dipping up to 3 times depending on how opaque you want the polish. Instead he painted one clear coat and then just kept dipping my nails in the powder over and over. When I asked if he could do a clear coat and dip again because it didn't even look like anything was on my nails he told me no that this "looked better, more natural." I'm sorry but I am not paying $45-$50 to leave and not look like I did anything to my nails. 2. This manicure started cracking and chipping off a day after I got them done. This type of manicure usually lasts weeks on my nails. I am just very disappointed with the results of this salon. I definitely will never go there again. read more

The employees don't wear a mask. My pedicure was substandard. The owner looks as though he lives in the nail shop. I have gone to Arbor nails on and off for 2 years. Lilly is awesome at foot massages. But if you don't get her, the pedicure and foot massage is just not worth the cost. Absolutely will not get my finger nails done there. I have been to the salon about 6 or 8 times. They do okay work. However, the last time I was there I decided i would need to find a new nail salon. I had gone in to get a manicure, a pedicure, and to get my eyebrows waxed. I ran out of time and ended up having to come back the next day to get my eyebrows waxed. When I walked in the door, the nail technician looked at my toes and said, you must be here to get a pedicure. They had done my mani/pedi the day before!! So what that tells me is they did a crappy job, or they just like to play with people's heads to make you think that what you have is not that great. either way, it didn't feel real honest. read more

I've been to several nail spas since my arrival to Alabama in February. Arbor is definitely the best. They take their time; the hand and foot massages are impeccable. I was originally going to Serenity Nail Spa but wanted to try a new salon because I felt they rushed through the process. Kim and Lily (at Arbor) are both wonderful and do a great job. The salon isn't that crowded so I consider it a hidden gem. Great service, clean, relaxing and excellent mani and pedi service. This is the only salon that provides the service I was accustomed to in Virginia out of the 4 salons I've visited since my arrival. read more

I came in at 5:45 on a Tuesday when they close at 7. They asked me to sign in and told me they'd be with me shortly. After waiting for almost 40 minutes without being helped at all, I simply left. Have been here twice now and have had an enjoyable experience both times. My wife and I booked together and she says they did a great job, I agree but having never had a pedicure before my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt. I had a deluxe pedicure at Arbor Nails and spa today and I must say it was a good experience. The lady who did my pedi was nice and took her time to clean and shape my toes nails. I had not had a pedicure in a long time and I do take care of my feet at home but there was some dead skin on my heels and I feel they didn't take all the dead skin off (that is why they get one less star). But still at the end my feet look and feel cleaner and pretty. The massage was good too and I would recommend Arbor Nails and spa to everyone out there who want a safe experience for a regular routine pedicure. Went to get my eyebrows waxed and I still had to go home and pluck stray hairs. Also sat and waited for 30 minutes for staff to get off of his phone and do my nails. I asked for acrylic tips painted with just regular polish and he kept asking me to do the 40 dollar sns powder instead. I said no thank you at least 10 times and he still did it. Avoid this place! As far as pedicures, they are ok but anything with your hands they are not. Last year, I got the sns powder and they next day it cracked and my nails were damaged. Plus, the owner doesn't even know how to do designs which is mind boggling to me. I feel every nail tech ought to know how to do a design. So spring forward to this year (two Sunday's ago),I initially went to just get my gel nails soaked off but decided to get a pedicure. It was 30 mins til they closed and no problem. Well the owner and his wife's daughter was going to Korea so they were about to leave (all while my feet were getting done by one of the workers), so the wife was like "oh well since you want your nails off that's easy" so she clipped them but was going so fast she cut them so short that she ended up cutting my skin so yea. I was bleeding and she just told me to soak my nails except the thumb. And said I can come back to get that one done since it was hurting so bad. So her and the owner left to take their daughter to the airport. Once the lady finished with my feet. She attempted to finish getting my nails off but was unsuccessful. She stated that she only does feet. So I left and only was charged for the pedicure. I never went back. They could've told me that they didn't have time to soak my nails off since they were leaving as opposed to rushing like they did and according to the woman who did my toes, the owner and his wife were the only ones who deal with the finger nails like omg. So yea avoid this place it's not worth it. I recommend Ocean nails and spa on 72 or I luv nails in south Huntsville but Arbor Nails is a NO NO! read more
