I decided to switch the title of my house into my trust and needed to submit paperwork to be…read morerecorded at the Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder's Office. After reading that this was actually a pretty simple thing to do oneself, I checked it out online at the Arapahoe County website. The website refers you to the Arapahoe County Library system where you can enter your library card number and get access to just about any legal form you would need in a fillable pdf format (no need to buy Microsoft Word first!). I completed the form and brought it to the Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorders Office. Although I signed up upon entering at their kiosk, there was no line, and I was helped within 5 minutes by a very helpful, kind young man. It only cost $18 for the fee. I was very impressed at how easy they made the whole process!

ACRC is a transitional residential facility for women. AKA a halfway house for female convicts…read more FYI, I am neither female nor a convict. HOWEVER, my company has hired 19 of their residents this year and currently still employ several that have completed their term here. The advantages to hiring them don't come without some small problems. Some of the advantages are a population of potential employees EAGER to work and W2W tax credits (download form 8850) from IRS. The disadvantages... well yeah, there are a couple. Many of the residents have constant meetings with case managers and different classes (most can be moved). Some residents that have ID theft convictions and aren't allowed to work with money (sort of a no brainer though). There are some with unusually high amounts of drama, but most of the highest risk convicts go to the facility downtown and don't come from ACRC. I've worked with residents of this facility for several years, most are great. You'll need a very good HR person to interview to weed out people and a experienced trustworthy manager (since many haven't seen a man in a long time). Occassionally, there will be some odd situations. The gas station across the street from us closed it's bathroom cause one of the gals turned tricks in there after work. Other than that, the facility is well run. The Center Director has come to visit us and I get the feeling very little gets past her. Most of the case managers there are very polite and professional with us too.

This is a place that makes the girl that live there turn in all their earned money from working…read more After the girls turn in their money to acrc they must request for money to spend on bills, hygiene and personal things. Acrc then cuts checks to them two weeks later for the amount they request if approved. Yes this does teach the girls budgeting, planning, and responsibility. But when these girls receive these checks and take them to king sopers or walmart or even the bank they cannot cash these checks because they bounce. So tell me how a place that has over 100 residence living there paying rent and turning in their earned money to them cannot even cover checks for personal needs. And because of this some of the girls are at risk of being regressed back to jail or even prison. This to me is very wrong. 90% of the girls there are working very hard to change their lives for the better and all acrc is doing is taking money from these girls and spending their money on who knows what then telling the girls "if you don't like it we will send you back". Needless to say all the girls are scared to take action against acrc due to back lash from acrc. To me this sounds like a fraud. I am personally taking steps to help threw the BBB, consumer protection and the arapahoe sheriff's office and I truly hope that others will to.

I love the major shopping mall centers including the Apple store that is my #1 location. I often drive around, shopping through most of the cute shops, theaters, and restaurants are locally owned. Most restaurant ratings on average are 4-5 stars, which is better than by DIA. I personally choose Littleton over Boulder, simply because it's not heavy of a college town, and if it is, then it's incredibly quiet and peaceful. The interstates are smooth and doesn't have bumpy and cracked pavements. I also highly recommend downtown Littleton. We went to watch a play not too long ago on Avenue Q and simply enjoyed the parking access, the safe stroll at night and finally, yes: The theater. The Christmas lights around the holiday are seen wrapped around the trees and they look spectacular!! There is easy light rail and bus systems to get around, I think this town is pretty fucking badass.

You get a real 1950s-60s vibe from this place from the interior, not to say that it's old run down and shabby but to say that it looks like it's in a time bubble, kept clean and functional with a few modern updates here and there. I really liked their full collection of foreign movies. I think I need to go back and rent a few interesting looking ones. The Internet service here was fast but very restricted and limited. You have to really search for this place since it's tucked away in a small neighborhood.

I had been spoiled by my five star experience in Castle Rock and was braced for the worst. My first visit with Mr. H. was great. Fast, pleasant, and got 3 vehicles handled quickly. Today I went in to finish up registering my old Altima "Smoky". When the transmission went out on her we thought we would be getting a replacement. I really didn't love any of the new or used vehicles we looked at, so Smoky got a low mileage transmission and some body work and I'm thrilled! But with my health issues last year, by the time we made that decision and got the work done, my Bronco plates lapsed and I had to get new ones. The receptionist was awesome and I tried to get her name as I was leaving, but she was busy with another patron. Duane was my clerk, and he was easy going yet professional and had me on my way promptly. I was very resistant to having to make an appointment because I'm used to handling things when it's convenient for me. But there were same day appointments available today after my emissions test was done. So I must say, this system makes it more pleasant for everyone involved.

I was sound asleep and awaken by police and 1st responders stomping through my house. I had no idea what was going on and in shock. They turned me into human services because I seemed like I didn't care. They judged me in a couple of minutes , I was in shock and trying to grasp what was going on. Scared to death. I mean what did they expect, to get woke up like that? Have a little feelings for people. Don't judge a person just because you can.
