Arandel was a delightful find a few blocks south of Plaza Mayor. The day we were there it looked popular with most tables filled with people having a great time sampling the tasty treats from the kitchen and consuming libations of a bit higher quality than the neighboring local bars. Arandel is a great place for a leisurely business lunch or as more than one couple proved...date night....or is that date day? The tapas that came with the drinks were surprisingly good with our favorite being the paella. Bright and shiny, clean and comfy, fun and relaxing....you could do worse in the tourist area than Arandel. read more
