History
Established in 2015.
Aragon Voice Studio opened its doors in March 2015 with the mission to provide effective voice lessons catered to children and adults, and not the typical cookie cutter approach. Aragon Voice Studio is run by Andrea Aragon, a voice teacher, vocal coach, and lead singer of San Francisco's alt-rock band, Van Aragon.
Trained in the highly effective Speech Level Singing technique used by over 100 Grammy-award winners including Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Barbra Streisand, Michael Jackson and Jennifer Hudson, Andrea's student roster includes children 6 and up, leads singers of SF bands (Should We Run and Loco Tranquilo), San Francisco State theater majors, CEOs that want to improve their speaking, and karaoke singers.
Andrea has 20+ years of performance experience including Bottom of the Hill, Boom Boom Room, Facebook and a tour in Japan. She also performed with Shania Twain during her "Come on Over Tour".
Meet the Business Owner: Andrea D.
Born and raised in San Diego in a music-loving household, Andrea developed a love for singing at age 6. At age 11, she began performing in plays and musical theater in the community. Andrea learned to play the guitar and began writing songs at age 15. With a music foundation in soul, jazz, rock, Andrea developed a vocal style that was both emotive and soulful.
During high school and college, Andrea performed in coffeehouses, music venues, and bars in San Diego. She also developed extensive choral performance experience and has toured in Japan, Disneyworld, and Disneyland to name a few. She was also selected as a part of a singing troupe to perform with Shania Twain during her "Come on Over Tour" in San Diego.
Andrea has been taking voice lessons for over twelve years and further developed vocal skills using elements of Speech Level Signing and is a member of the Institute for Vocal Advancement.
Andrea is also the principle singer/songwriter/rhythm guitarist for Van Aragon.
