I tried back in December to get my son who is 6 almost 7 months old seen for his ears and a wellness check and I was told the day of his appointment that it had to be in a month in advanced well the receptionist could have explained that to me beforehand which I was reluctantly ok with. Well I call today bc my son has thick yellow discharge coming out of his eyes and red orange ear wax I was trying to get him in asap! Well fist I was put on hold for 5 minutes which wasn't ok so I hung up called again and the receptionist had an attitude so I hung up called again this time I requested to speak with a pediatrician I was treated like some 2nd rate citizen! I was told and I quote " the drs don't talk to people over the phone" I automatically thought what a bunch of crock! I said look my son is sick I need to speak to a dr and get some advice if I can't get him in! The lady over the phone told me well I can get my manager ( wtf what really) I laughed and said no honey your manager can't give medical advice well she proceeds to put her on the phone I tried to explain the situation and the lady state well you had an appointment set up back in December and was canceled I said yeah bc your receptionist canceled it telling me they needed to cancel it bc it had to be a month in advance in the middle of eBay I was saying she rudely interrupted me saying no that didn't happen I said actually yes it did! And all I needed was to get my son seen bc his condition is getting worse so instead of compassion and understanding and being professional about it she told me she wasn't going to allow me to bring my son who is sick to be seen!!! Really I heard so many wonderful things about your practice that I honestly think those people are high on drugs bc the staff is the rudest most unprofessional people ever if I ever spoke like to any clients like that I'd be fired but it's what ever I found a better pediatrician that was more than willing to schedule him in to get seen and to find out he has a bad ear and eye infection! Seriously y'all couldn't even take the time to do that how in the world do you even stay open?!? We were there for over a day and a half and only saw the ER doctor for about 2 minutes. Then the next day we saw another doctor for only about a minute. The cardiologist never bothered to make an appearance to discuss my wife's prognosis at all. The heart enzymes that tell if a person is having a heart attack were high and nothing was done at all. I do not recommend this hospital at all.
