When my oven stopped heating properly I knew I needed to get it fixed ASAP. After a few conversations with other appliance repair companies here on Yelp, George came through with the soonest availability (he made it out the same day!), and I was quoted a flat-rate to fix the oven regardless of the problem. If I had already known the root-cause of the problem (igniter) I would have tackled the job on my own. However, I didn't have time to troubleshoot it, and I was 100% happy with the peace of mind I got from knowing that with flat-rate pricing it would get fixed no matter what the problem was (and it came with a 6 month warranty on the repair). Eduardo showed up exactly on time as promised, and had the problem fixed in less than 15 minutes. He had all necessary parts and tools with him, and was incredibly efficient and professional. He was very respectful of our home and considerate of COVID protocols. You might be able to save a little bit of money by shopping around and waiting for other appliance repair folks to fit you into their schedules, but if you want peace-of-mind pricing and a lightning fast repair you should definitely call George.

Items are defective, and sold us a dryer that was leaking gas with kids in the home. These problems occurred within 3 day of purchase. Washer leaked as well, had to replace. Terrible resolution, would not refund, and was difficult to work with. He does not honor his three month warranty, and he has went as far as to block my number.

He arranged for a technician to come out right away, and throughout my interactions with the Company, the communication has been outstanding--worthy of five stars in today's world! Once the technician determined the problem, Michael called me with an update and sent two very detailed and clearly worded estimates. I never felt pressured to replace the furnace, even though I knew it was only a matter of time before I would need to. We have subterranean garages, and it was clear that the pump had failed, as we had a giant pool of water within 2 hours of rain that was quickly encroaching the garages. Luis showed up, checked the electrical system and determined it was working. He noticed that the pump was bubbling, and suggested that it might have become disconnected from the drain pipe. He gave us a quote, and offered to temporarily pump out the water to avoid damage to the garages. However, when we mentioned the pump was new, he was honest and suggested that it was likely under warranty and that the company that installed it should manage the issue. He waited for a few minutes while I called the previous company, who sent a technician later in the day and found that Luis's assessment (disconnected pump) was correct. In the future, we will be switching to Fords Plumbing. They were quick, through, and honest.

By that point, I had been stuck at home all day waiting. What made this even more frustrating is that I had to call them to inquire about the status, which I don't believe I should have had to do. I contacted the company the day before, and they offered me this service window. Basic communication or a proactive update should not require the customer to chase the company down. Despite all of this, I was still charged $196, as if my time and inconvenience had no value. To add to that, I was asked for my email address so a receipt could be sent to me -- and I still have not received it. That lack of follow-through only adds to the frustration. I don't like being at the mercy of service providers, and situations like this make it feel intentional. Customers are given wide windows, forced to wait around, and then expected to accept last-minute arrivals with no accountability. In my opinion, companies know people don't really have a choice in these situations, and that imbalance shows in how little respect is given to the customer's time. The work itself was fine, but the experience matters. If you're going to charge premium prices, there needs to be accountability, communication, and follow-through -- not silence, delays, and customers left waiting all day.

About two weeks ago, my fridge began making a burned plastic/rubber smell. I went ahead and deep…read morecleaned the inside and the back of the fridge (the coils) but the smell persisted. When I called Best Price, someone answered immediately and their fee to come out was more reasonable than some of the other places I reached out to. The reason for my rating is that it appears the technician that came to my home could have been more thorough. When he arrived, I explained the situation and he also noted that he smelled the scent that is concerning me. He spent some time reviewing the back of the fridge and he concluded there was nothing noticeably wrong and recommended I unplug it and deep clean it again to help air out the smell. He believes this fridge is nearing its end (I've had it for around six years). I paid and that was that. The problem is that when I emptied out the fridge, specifically the freezer, I saw black dust or streaks (not noticed the last I deep cleaned). A quick Google search and a family friend who is a handyman shared that it may be an electrical issue. All this to say, I paid for a diagnostic service that didn't provide a clear answer (especially since it's not normal to fridges to smell like something is burning) because it appears the technician could have been more thorough to explain any additional options or review components inside the fridge. Now I have to go out and buy a new fridge to avoid a potential fire hazard.
