We went on a group outing to Aquarium and had the whole back room. We started actually with a small tour of the vegetable garden where they grow much of the produce they serve. We started with a small amuse buche Parmesan ball that had a magnificent aged, balsamic reduction underneath it. That balsamic was lick worthy! Next they brought a basket of traditional breads and also the ingredients to make bruschetta at your seat: a beautiful burrata wedge that was slightly Smokey, perfectly seasoned garden fresh tomatoes and grilled bread. This was my favorite dish of the evening. Calamari was fresh and light. Not as crispy as we get in the USA but it wasn't as highly battered. The grilled lemons were a great addition, be sure to save them for your dinner. The farro with seafood was well done. It was fishier then many enjoyed due probably to the dehydrated caviar but the grain texture and seasoning was lovely and the shellfish was soft and perfectly cooked. We also had grilled sea bass (not shown) which was fresh and flakey. The dessert made with almond milk was a nice sweet taste to end the meal. Service was spot on, including the wine service. Servers spoke some English which was very helpful. Owners speak fluent English as does the manager. If you are in the area and looking for farm to table definitely give it a try! read more

I wish I could have eaten here 7 days a week! We got to celebrate Father's Day here and my daughter had her first slice of pizza! Memories are made at the Aquarium. By far my favorite pizza in Torre Delle Stelle, Sardinia and I would go as far to say all of Italy! They have a perfect mix of traditional pizza along with creative options. Then you add the ambiance and staff, perfetto!! The grounds are absolutely stunning if you are coming by for a drink, awesome bartender and cocktail menu, or dinner. I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy this spot. I can't wait to visit next year and see what other great additions this team has to offer. read more

Authentic homemade dough and high quality ingredients makes the basis of a tasty and phenomenal pizza!!! Aquarium has this process down for sure!!!! We had a big variety of combination pizzas (from seafood to meat to vegetarian,...) to feast on and all were amazing and delish. And, the nice thing is that the dough is so fresh and authentic as well as the ingredients...the pizza did not give you a bloated feeling like other pizzas do. Go out of your way to check this place out! We visited with a large group of folks (~15-20 of us, all in our 30s) and the scenery was delightful, quite a surprise for such an unassuming location on the island. Walking into the place kinda felt like we were entering some exclusive European award show. All pizza in Italy (especially southern Italy) is excellent but this had be wanting more with every bite. I had one of the specials, I believe diavola & lamb meat with some veggies? Still dream about it at night. I can echo the other comments regarding the management - a delightful family that was warm, courteous and genuinely attentive to the enjoyment of our lare group. Also, to our surprise a local 3-person band popped up and start jamming out 80s/90s classics along with popular italian songs that had all of the ladies in our group swooning... and all the gents on the dancefloor. One of, if not THE, favorite night in Sardegna. Hands down the best restaurant we visited throughout our 5-night stay. Will do what we can to make sure we add this spot on our next trip to the Mediterranean! read more

I recently enjoyed an exceptional dining experience with a group of friends at the Aquarium while visiting Sardinia. The service was outstanding and it was abundantly clear that the restaurant staff were skilled and well trained. We started with aperitivo and live music at sunset in the courtyard, which was stunning. I can't remember the name of the wine I ordered, but ask for the dry white - it's delicious and reasonably priced as well. The menu is extensive and features a variety of handcrafted pizzas including fresh takes on classics as well as speciality options. Note, it's essential to save room for dessert ... a week later and I'm still dreaming about the "Soft Pistachio Rocher" I ordered to close out the fantastic meal. I visited Sardinia on a work trip and stumbled on this GEM of a restaurant / bar (thank you yelp)! The "Aquarium" is an indoor/outdoor venue serving cocktails in the lounge courtyard and freshly made pizzas and pastas in the dining terrace. I visited the Aquarium three times during my trip, enjoyed two live performances, and made new friends - making my trip very memorable. Grazie mille!! read more

Hands down the BEST pizza in the area and possibly all of Sardinia. If I could transport this place back home to New York, it would be a dream. I often think about it when I'm back in NY and so looking forward to flying to Sardinia to have the pizza, again this summer. Last summer, I ate there 7 days in a row and never got sick of it. So much variety in the menu, including delicious salads which are hard to find in the area. Highly recommend. Also, go for drinks before and enjoy the live music they have some days. The staff and owners are very lovely, as well. Makes the experience complete. read more
