Was I ever pleased. They met the date just as promised which is unusual for SW Florida. Afterwards I notice the pool guy had failed to cut off one of the black corrugated pipes the downspout ran into. The pool guy came back and cut the black pipe, leaving me an area with no downspout. I called Rain Control and hoped to just get a piece of downspout to connect connect the two, but figured I would have to pay for it and install it myself. Instead Rain Control came out two dates later and installed a new downspout at no charge. I am impressed with this company and highly recommend them. We just used Pelican Pressure Washing Pros for the first time. Our technician, Matt Strakes,…read morearrived a few minutes early for the scheduled cleaning. He was very personable, professionally dressed, and started with a walk-around to confirm the areas that were to be cleaned and locate the best place to park the pressure washer truck and get water. Once the truck was hooked up to water, he had a 200' hose and was able to complete the entire job from that position. Our project included our pool deck, a concrete curb that our screen enclosure sits on, a side patio, a side entrance sidewalk, and a front courtyard. After finishing the pool deck and side areas, Matt asked me to walk the areas again and make sure he had cleaned everything we wanted. Matt was obviously very conscientious and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Once he had finished the last areas, Matt asked again for me to check around and make sure that I was satisfied with everything before he packed up his equipment. Honestly, everything looked great. It was probably the best all around pressure cleaning job we have had here and their price was very reasonable. After Matt packed up, he went around and made sure everything he had moved for the cleaning was back in place. Door mats, garbage cans, patio furniture, etc. Our patio is now ready for the holidays and we will definitely use Pelican Pressure Washing Pros next time.

I contracted with this company to clean and seal my pool deck, driveway, and golf cart path. I was…read moreassured that his process would eliminate the weeds that periodically grew between the pavers on my pool deck for at least 5 years and that there was a 2 year warranty on his work. This year I had more weeds than I'd ever seen growing between my pavers so I got Frederick out to look at it and schedule an appointment to rectify the problem. When Frederick arrived for the appointment and realized that he was going to have to redo the pool deck he first started to say that the reason this didn't work was due to my dogs having access to the pool deck and that their defecation and pee caused the problem even though they never did either at the end of the deck with the major weed growth was evident. Then he wanted to charge me again because he was taking a day off to honor his 2 year guarantee. I agreed to pay him half of what he wanted, to which he agreed, and I thought he went off to begin working on my deck. Instead he came back and wanted my check for the amount he was charging me. When I told him my word was good, that I've never stiffed a vendor, he told me again that he had taken a day off to correct his problem, that I could put a negative remark on social media which I never discussed or threaten him with and ended up driving off. My wife's brother owns a landscaping company in Ohio so she called him for options on correcting the problem. That's when we learned that the reason we were having the weed problem was because Frederick used plain sand between the pavers and used the sealer he applied to the pavers to seal the sand between the pavers. According to my brother-in-law this always results in the continuation of weeds growing between the pavers. It also is the cheapest way to ensure durability and weed prevention between pavers. What he should have used was polymeric sand between the pavers to ensure long term durability and weed prevention. The polymeric sand doesn't cost much more than plain sand and is as easy to apply as plain sand. The problem comes from the fact that the polymeric sand must cure for 28 days before you can apply the sealer to the pavers which means the vendor must visit the job site twice to do it right. So most vendors cut corners to avoid the second application. My brother-in-law talked us through applying the polymeric sand and sealer as he thought it was easy enough for us to do ourselves. We started out power washing the sand out of all of the pavers on our deck which is where we discovered huge portions of our deck that were never covered with sealer. Another quality indicator of Frederick's workmanship.
