We really can't say enough nice things about MJ. He demeanor is patient and calm and she kept a consistent pace. She met our son's needs and adjusted course when he was struggling with a skill. The parent and me group classes are very small with only 4-6 families depending on the pool. The coaches come around and check in with you and your child while practicing each skill to see how you are doing and offer next steps. They incorporate a lot of songs, which both of my girls love (the pirate song is a favorite.) They also explain skills and the reasoning behind doing things a certain way really well. We have also done one on one skills lessons with my older daughter and have been very impressed. We have worked with Coach Kara, Coach Alice, and Coach Alecia, and they have all been great to work with. The different pools can be confusing, but they send out monthly schedules with locations and are always a text away when I have been unsure. When I researched the ISR method, I learned that drowning is the number one cause of accidental death for children under the age of four in Arizona. And while I know there is no substitute for constant supervision, ISR Self-Rescue lessons provide an extra layer of protection. My son loves the water... whenever he sees it, he wants to go in. It's beyond scary to think about if he somehow were to fall into a pool and an adult wasn't around to save him. If you really want the chills and reassurance that ISR works, check out the testimonial page here: http://www.arcadiaisr.com/testimonials.html The testimonials do not lie. Tracy is fabulous. While it's an investment of both time and money, it's so worth it. Just a few weeks in and my 22 month old son can float and swim to the side of the pool - it's pretty amazing! When Yelp allows us to post videos, I'll do so here... In the meantime, if you are looking at swim lessons / survival class for a child 6 months to 6 years old, I highly recommend ISR!

He has coached both of our daughters -- now 4 and 7 -- and the transformation has been remarkable. He always seemed to know exactly what each of them needed to build confidence without feeling overwhelmed. Thanks to Brandon, both girls are now water safe, have learned to swim, and continue to improve their strokes every year. Despite changing my Facebook credentials often, it kept being hacked. He casually said, "Just come by anytime, and I will take care of everything." Being a former New Yorker, I was quite skeptical. I arrived, and instantly, his calm demeanor lowered my blood pressure by 100 points. I gave him my list of things I wanted him to do with all my iPads, phones, and devices. I.e., full diagnostics, factory resets, security systems, etc., then factory resetting everything. After that, I secured the main device and had him reinstall everything. I was ready and expected to spend thousands of dollars. He calmly spent a while asking me a bunch of questions. To make a long story short, he told me that he could do everything I asked, but he had a different solution. He started to explain what he wanted to do. I then asked him to talk to me as if I were 10 years old, then realized a 10-year-old knew more than I did, so I told him to speak to me like I was his grandfather. Again, to make a long story short, he fixed everything and secured my systems, iPads, phones, and devices at literally a tiny fraction of the price I was ready to pay. HE IS MY HERO. He would not even accept a tip; I had to shove it in his top pocket. IF YOU EVER NEED APPLE PRODUCTS, REPAIRS, ETC., I 1000% RECOMMEND MAC MADE EASY. KAHANA IS THE BEST.
