I called this jeweler to get a gold chain repaired. They needed me to bring the necklace in so they could adequately quote me a price. They required $60 to repair the 10K- 28 inch tiny link chain that required it to be soldered with the use of a magnifying machine. Initially I thought the repair was over priced so I called one of the jewelry repair kiosks in the mall and they quoted me $50 for the same repair but the necklace would be shipped out and take over a week to repair and be returned. Since the price was comparable but had less complications, I went back to this jeweler. They did the repair immediately and in front of me in-house (not shipped to another location). The repair took 15 minutes. Afterwards, they used another magnifying machine to show me where they repaired it to make sure it meet my satisfaction before asking for payment. Once I verified that the repair was acceptable, they cleaned the necklace free of charge before placing it in a jewelry bag. They were very professional and did and excellent job. read more

Top notch shop. Very personable owners. I took my diamond in to be reset as the stone had fallen out. The owner, who does the repairs herself, took great steps to explain the process and my options. She also put my diamond under her scope to allow me to take pictures and identify inclusions so I knew I was getting the same diamond back. They also do appraisals. We are new to Ashburn. Just prior to moving my wife fell, and jammed her ring finger. Although initially sore, the finger recovered and no further thought was given to the incident. A few weeks after moving we were at a wedding in Cape Cod, MA and, surprisingly, about midnight, her ring finger swelled so large her wedding ring cut the circulation. We rushed to the local hospital ER, where they finally had to cut the wedding and engagement bands off to protect the finger. We read the reviews of Stephanie describing her as a jeweler Goddess. Although a bit skeptical at first, the more we worked with her, the more we elevated her Super Hero status. Not only did she effect the repairs to a very expensive wedding set, but she identified other damage that had occured during the fall. The repaired ring is exquisite...even better than prior to the floor...it looks brand new. Further, Stephanie encouraged us to explore whether or not our Personal Articles Insurance would cover the repair. Upon investigation, we learned that USAA, our insurance company of nearly 50 years, did cover the repairs. The reimbursement was accomplished swiftly as Stephanie worked with them. The diamond fell out of my engagement ring so I took it to AQ for repair. The owner was very concerned that I would recognize my diamond when I picked up the ring so she was very intentional about making sure I looked at the stone through her eye glass. Not only did the stone need to be replaced but the ring needed new prongs and to have the worn gold strengthened. She handled all of the issues beautifully.
