    I called and asked a question about a simple facial service I wanted and was told I needed a…read moreconsult. I booked the consult. I drove over 30 minutes one way and had to fill out a ton of paperwork for the 1 simple question I had. I had to wait past my scheduled appointment time. Upon entering the consult room, I was immediately handed 2 brochures (without anyone looking at my skin) and told they really only offer 1 service for the face. The consult was maybe 5 minutes at the most (and that's because I asked questions). It wasn't a true consult. I could have saved a lot of time and unnecessary paperwork (identify theft is real these days) if they could have just answered my question over the phone in 10 seconds. On principle, I won't be receiving services from this place and will look elsewhere.

I paid my consultation fee and showed up to my appointment only to have the doctor walk in and inform me that they don't offer that treatment. So I received no consultation or exam, yet they kept my consultation fee, despite the fact that they knew which treatment I wanted, they don't even do it there, and the doctor spoke to me for all of 2 minutes, if that. I was very clear in advance about the treatment that I was booking an appointment for. Apparently it was just a mixup on their end and those I spoke with weren't aware that the treatment isn't something that Ultraderm does. But they never refunded the consultation fee, which I think is unethical to say the least. I spoke to someone who said that they would follow up, and they never did. The whole experience felt super disorganized and frustrating.

    P.A. Scrapped bump out of my hair for biopsy on a Monday. Said to put Vaseline on it daily. Asked…read moreif that was enough to avoid infection and guaranteed it would. Kept it clean and complied. Open wound was infected-by Friday afternoon - oozing yellow puss. As soon as I noticed Called office around 4:20 on Friday afternoon. P.A. was not there but Doc was there with a patient. Just wanted to know if I should put an antibiotic ointment on it over the weekend until could I see someone on Monday. Medical assistant refused to advise. And office closed.

Since he didn't, I ended up bleeding profusely within 2 hrs afterwards. I called his office immediately. They transferred me to him and he told me he couldn't do anything about it, just to go to the ER. So I did and spent ~5 hrs in the ER with a $400 bill afterwards. When I spoke to him during a follow up appointment the next day, he had no sympathy whatsoever. He just said "complications happen, come back in a week and I'll take the sutures out." I cancelled that follow up appointment due to understandable distrust. I instead went to my primary care to assess. My primary care doctor took care of it after multiple visits. The wound Dr. Magid created took ~3 weeks to heal (when he claimed 1 week). I paid the ER bill and and all the bills from his office but also asked the manager, Diane to help me set up an appointment with a different dermatologist for other issues I needed care for. She agreed to but I never got a call back. Instead what I got was a certified letter in the mail, written by Dr. Magid. It was incredibly offensive and vindictive. "I am sending this letter to inform you that, due to your noncompliance in returning for postoperative appointments and dissatisfaction with our office, Forefront Dermatology will be terminating our patient -clinician relationship." Due to his statement in that letter, I'm "banned" from booking any appointment with any dermatologist at Forefront Dermatology. I couldn't believe that he would do such a thing after knowing what I had gone through nor that the manager Diane would've even allowed him to send that letter. Now I cannot even find another dermatologist in my area since Forefront is the only practice near me. For him to take extra, aggressive, vindictive, unwarranted steps to block me from seeing any dermatologist in his practice is absolutely unfair and unbelievable. Again I spoke with management amicably, paid my bills, etc. and yet was completely blindsided by this.
