I left her one day for daycare just to see how she would do before I had to leave her for an extended stay. When we went for the extended stay she was excited to be there just driving up. when it was time to leave she was happy to see me but was not so traumatized that she went on as normal. I was really happy to see this. The staff is nothing but friendly helpful and accomodating. Will feed on your schedule ( I portioned and labeled in zip lock bags to make it easy.) I beleive the pricing is very fair. I like that they do not let all of the dogs into one play area. My dog loves to play with others but sometimes does not recognize when someone else does not want to play until she gets a face off. Not her fault and I watche her when we are out. I do however spring for the playroom each day for her. I know she cannot wait until I go away again.

We were gone for a whole two & a half days. When I picked him up on the 26th, his face was covered in scratches & cuts! Keep in mind he has stayed at the hotel before & we had no problems. They had no answers for me when we asked what happened to our dogs face! The most they could say was "he may have been sticking his nose through the fence." Okay so why didn't you fix the problem? Why didn't you call me when you noticed his face was messed up? But besides the point, I left my dog with them to be cared for & safe. When I picked him up he should have looked the same as when I left him. When they noticed these marks popping up on his face, the least they could have done was given me a phone call to notify me of this situation! I received nothing so excuse me for being completely shocked when I picked him up & he looked like this. I took him there, trusting these people to make sure he was taken care of! I signed papers stating that i would pay bills up to $2,000 if he needed medical attention that they could take him to a vet, with the okay for the vet to do what he needed to. He should have been taken to a vet when they noticed it getting worse. But instead they left him like this. So when I picked him up & noticed it was getting worse, I took him to the vet. They had to shave one of the spots on the top of his head. He's now being treated for hot spots. He needed to go to the vet while they had him. if they would've taken him when they noticed this, it wouldn't be as bad as it is. The problem could probably be solved by now! I'm furious on why they didn't care for my dog like they should have. & some people may think i'm overreacting but my dog is like my kid. If you took your kid to daycare & he was fine but picked him up looking like this, chances are you wouldn't take him back there & you'd be furious too. So the next time my dog needs to be at a doggy daycare, he will be at an actual vets office. I would strongly suggest this for anyone else that has to put their pets in daycares that way you know they'll be in great hands to be cared for. Thanks for nothing Just Like Home Pet Hotel! This wouldn't have happened if he would've been somewhere like home.

She is in regular communication, including sending photos and videos, while I'm away. She has excellent judgement about their socialization needs, given their backgrounds and dispositions, and they come home a bit more ease around other dogs than before they left. I also like that I am supporting a business that provides direct care to homeless dogs through Farm Dog Fosters Sanctuary. And her prices are very reasonable.

While discussing what was being forgotten this time I asked about the ball forgotten from last visit and she got an attitude and rolled her eyes at me (of course facing away from the camera they have in the lobby) Well Im sorry that set off my bitch switch and for that I apologize but her eye rolling and attitude were uncalled for in a professional place of business, and when the OLD staff here were always so gracious and friendly no matter what then its unexpected and unacceptable, I work in customer service and would not have a job if i rolled my eyes at a customer. I have a husky mix and she cannot stand getting her toes clipped I took her to the vet, petsmart, and even other daycares but they have a dog whisperer in there and I will never take my dog anywhere else to get her nails clipped for only $5 if your dog is in daycare or $10 if they aren't! We met with the owner, Cindy Wold assured us that Panzer would be welcomed and that she would work with him. She was very knowledgeable in dog behavior and within 1 week she had him join the other dogs and worked wonders with his leash training. We had been using a harness on him to control him on walks but now we have him on a regular leash. The facility, A Dog's Life is clean, spacious and well ventilated. Her staff is very attentive and are with the dogs at all times, you can see that they do care for their 'guests'. I highly recommend this place.

He was afraid of everything ,most likely from past trauma. The focus was on obedience and getting used to people and other dogs. The pack walks are the best thing in the world for him as he is accepting that it is good to be social. I am so grateful that there is a place that truly cares and that we have a continuing way to keep his social skills moving forward. Also, a plus the pack walks help our veterans that served and came home with PTSD.

First of all the price is great in my opinion. Their facility has plenty of play space and the livery room we got was large. We always want, maybe even need, to be able to check in on them. While on past stays we would look and find them pacing and awooing all night. Something about this place made them zen. They looked out the windows, climbed and snuggled in their bed. We signed up for both of them to get a bath before pick up but due to some error with their system only our little guy got his, which was sad because if we had to pick we would have picked her. For our two dogs it was $115 a day for the luxury suite. When we arrived to pick them up we expected our Dachshund to scream like he does when we come home and our Auggie to go crazy and we were so disappointed when they came up to us like okay cool, summer camp is over? Not one cry or bark, no jumping or crazy tail wags. Next time we hope to board them for training. Our dogs would have required 3 weeks and that just didn't work for us right now.
