I was seated immediately and they started my pedicure. They are sanitary- the bowls are lined and they wear gloves. They either speak English or they don't but there's always at least one English speaking person in the salon. I have not noticed them talking across the room in their language which tends to make me uncomfortable. I love the results and would recommend this salon.

Why pay for something that is improperly done. I would not recommend this location because they do not understand English or comprehend very dissatisfying and very disappointed. My foot is still somewhat burning $122 wasted on BS. As you can see in the photos, one toe is longer than the other one toe is lopsided so very disappointed.

Poor quality service and Horrible customer service from the manager/supervisor! NEVER GO HERE!!!…read more I got services done on a Friday. I specifically got a fill-in with gel polish along with other services such as eye brow wax and a pedicure. I spent $200 total ($20 of it was my tip). The nail tech that sits at #10 did my fill-in. I asked for gel polish with a matte finish. He initially seemed confused about what I was asking for, but the tech next to him helped clarify what I was asking him to do. At the end of my service, my nails looked very nice. I could not see in visible issues. By Sunday (2 days later) my nails had developed air bubbles and the polish had already began peeling and fading off. I came to Galaxy that Monday to show the poor quality. The staff sent me to #10 to fix it his mistakes on my nails. At a surface level, it looked like he fix the 5 nails that appeared damaged. By Friday of that week (4 days later) the same damage began to resurface, but only on one nail so I thought I could ignore it. But then as the weekend progressed, by Sunday over 6 of my nails began forming air bubbles and peeling off again. So I called the shop that next day on Monday and left a message. By Wednesday, no one had called me back so I called Galaxy again to speak to the manager. The guy who answered the phone identified himself as the manager so I expressed all in the aforementioned. He was clearly not actively listening because he was stuck on his policy of its been 7 days since the service and repeatedly kept saying "you should have said you didn't like the service before you left". I remained calm and tried to help him understand that the problem didn't become a problem until a couple of days after services, so I had no way of knowing this the same day of service. I've never gone anywhere where air bubbles and peeling of gel polish happened within a couple of days, thus choosing gel polish so it can last longer. I also never experience poor customer service like I did with the manager, especially when the problem rooted from nail tech #10 not knowing what he's doing. My takeaway from this experience is to NEVER go back to galaxy nails in Florissant because their products and staff are of poor quality which directly reflects the managers behavior when I professionally brought this concern to his attention. I wasted $200 on this service. I should have know better when I pulled up and the Parking arrangements were awful, but that's a different review for another day. For those that have a high regard for yourself and expect your services to reflect what you paid for, STAY AWAY FROM GALAXY NAILS AND DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!!! I couldn't recommend a better stylist in North County, Christina is worth every penny and every effort you have to make to sit in her chair.
