Met with Greg twice when I went in to review the draft and sign the papers and he is a very kind gentleman and I felt confident in both of their abilities. Very personable and I'm very happy with the trust. Trusts are NOT cheap (at least the ones that cover your life's needs) but if you're going to spend the dough, go with estate attorney's that are fully knowledgable, make you feel comfortable and don't make you feel like an inconvenience when you have questions. Luke Welmerink, Esq., prepared complete estate planning portfolios for my husband and me in 2024…read moreand we could not be happier with the service and end result. We were introduced to Luke via the Nevada Attorney General's Office of Military Legal Assistance (OMLA) as my husband is a veteran and qualified for free legal services. Luke expresses his patriotism by offering pro bono services to the military. (If you are interested in this service, the request must go through the OMLA - 775-687-2140 or nvagomla@ag.nv.gov). Our experience with Luke and his staff was excellent from start to finish. He impressed us with his integrity, honesty, and professionalism, while being very personable and relatable. He kept us informed throughout the process with just the right number of emails and follow up. He really took the time to get to know us so he could prepare our estate with our wishes clearly defined. The process took two appointments. The first was to go over what the estate would include (the will, power of attorney, durable power of attorney for health care, memorial instructions, personal effects, etc.) and to go over the details on the worksheet he had provided for us to complete before the meeting. The second appointment was to go over the completed will and other documents in detail, making a few alterations, and signing. When it was finished, he presented it to us in a beautiful green binder. In addition to the estate planning, he enrolled us at no charge for the first year in a cloud-based service which will store our documents and be available to those we designate should something happen to both my husband and me. He also registered us with Nevada Lockbox, which is an advanced directive registry for medical concerns. If you need an attorney for estate, tax, asset protection and/or business planning, or estate administration, Luke Welmerink, Esq., and his team should be on your short list of law practices to contact.

By nature, he is kind, helpful, honest, genuine, and deeply principled. The people we know who have used Lakeside Lawyers have all been very pleased with Jeremy's competence. So naturally, walking in, we had high expectations. We were not disappointed; we were decidedly impressed. As a lawyer, we found Jeremy to be very understanding, highly professional, and exceptionally patient. His clear and concise explanations of the necessity of the trust, the process itself, his fee and what it covered, anticipated all of our questions. After carefully listening to and assessing our needs, Jeremy generated all of the custom documents necessary to complete our trust. He is obviously quite knowledgeable and well experienced at what he does, and he and Krystal are a remarkably well organized and efficient team. Two days after we signed the documents, everything was recorded and copies neatly arranged in a special notebook along with a comprehensive letter of instructions detailing our next steps. After working with Jeremy, I believe that he is eminently qualified in all of his legal specialties, and I would definitely use his services again and recommend him without reservation to anyone who wanted superbly capable legal representation at a fair price.

After I signed the Attorney-Client Retainer Agreement, I was sent Estate Planning Worksheets which Kevin used to create a draft of my Living Trust. I asked her a few questions about trademark and classes and having a website and she was quick to cut me off mid question every single time. Even when she asked me a question in return and I gave a response she would cut me off. At the end of our THREE MINUTE conversation, I asked a question about the business aspect of the trademark to which she curtly, slowly, and condescendingly replied; "You called me to ask about trademark and I have answered that for you. Now you want me to answer a business question to which you would have to be my client and then we could discuss these things." Thanks for the obvious statement. I have worked with MANY different lawyers in my line of business and this one's attitude, lack of class or ability to kindly suggest I was going off subject, and impatience in just a THREE minute entire conversation didn't work for me.
