It is located on the other side of the Nyon train station across from the entrance to the local red train that goes up to Saint Cergue. It is temporary food stand/outside cafe. I finally got a chance to enjoy a late summer evening here after getting off the train. This place is always packed and can often be hard to find a seat. All the seating is outside and you go up to the trailer window to place your order and take it back to your seat. Then take your dishes back to the window when you are done. They serve a choice of coffee, tea, beer, wine or other alcohol free drinks. They also have a variety of light items to snack on (changes each day). Typically they offer salads, sandwiches, a meat/cheese plate, sorbet, yogurt, or home made sweets. I happened to take an espresso and couldn't resist a slice of chocolate tart. My espresso was fine, but the chocolate tart melted in my mouth and was perfection - lightly crispy on the outside and gooey soft on the inside. YUMMY! If I get a chance to stop by here again I will before it closes. Dependent on the weather it closed last year at the end of September - beginning of October. Fantastic little spot to enjoy a drink on a beautiful day as you are waiting for the train or ending a day.

It has a low key and relaxed atmosphere. The prices are Swiss standard and the menu is standard Swiss specialties. I tried the salmon tartar and it was amazing. My friends favorite choices here are the beef and salmon tartar. The salads looked and I hear are also very good. The other bonus is they have awesome tasty ice cream creations for dessert.

I can vouch for the coffee as being very good as well as the pastis de nata, which is my favorite, the Portuguese custard tart. The man who I think was the owner was very nice and friendly and even spoke to me in English, which doesn't say much for my French! Its open on Saturday and Sunday which is great as well.
