After months and months of waiting for a h IRS to respond we received a letter stating she indicated on the forms incorrect information and it had to be amended. She supposedly sent the amended return 3 times but could not provide any confirmation to us that she did. Finally when I spoke to an IRS rep they stated the reason there has been no update is that the numbers did not match our original return and the examiner had to disregard our paperwork. We have had an outstanding balance with the IRS which in 2023 she advised not to pay while we wait for the amended return to be accepted. When I first called, I spoke to Jennifer who was very attentive, friendly, and the sweetest. She directed my phone call to Jeanie. Rich was an absolute blast to do my taxes with, he was so determined to get me the highest refund possible. While meeting with Richard, he introduced us to the junior accountant who I found out did most of my tax work ahead of time, Fernanda. She answered all my questions in great detail, she was extremely professional and helpful through the entire appointment. I cant express how grateful I am to find such an exciting and knowledgeable team. My husband started a small business this year and Jimmy contacted us right away to start our yearly planning so we wouldn't run into any surprises for next year's taxes. I overheard them scheduling Zoom meetings, which makes me so happy they are adjusting to each clients situation. They had hand sanitizer and Lysol in the front desk area. I witnessed them spraying Lysol after I got up and wiping down the countertops with Clorox wipes. The office was very modern and gorgeous. The front waiting area was clean and presentable. They also served the best cappuccinos. I will not ever be able to return to H&R Block after an experience like this.
