I feel that they are making this so difficult so they can get a another monthly payment. I was placed on hold for over 30 minutes, hung up on because I'm asking for the correct pick up time after being told 2 different times, no manager will come to the phone, and the customer service it no help and shows no empathy. I will call the police to file a report and have them to work with the leasing office at my leasing office to get the appliance back. The only thing I can do is contact the police to inform them of this matter so there will be no theft charge being filed because it seems that this is something this company will do. Every store i went to did not have what i needed which was a 110 dryer i was about to give up hope and try to rent again when my daughter look up appliance smart on main st in reynoldsburg .So we went there and as soon as i walk in it was pretty much empty and my hopes were not that great again. So i talk to the sales person by the name of thomas robinson III . He was very nice and helpful but i had to use the restroom . When i came out i was still not hopeful but thomas was very open about everything and the few selections they had turned out to be what i needed i was surprised . horrible experience. Customer service is subpar at best. Time lines given are extended to there benefit. Purchased a set plus extended warranty. The washer was already there, I was advised the dryer would need to be ordered and would take around 3 weeks Maybe sooner. We are now past the 3 week mark. I was advised it "should" be in tomorrow, but that I couldn't get it delivered till next week sometime. I have been more then patient. Todd is extremely rude. Has lied several times about the time frame he originally quoted me and overly unpleasant. My request to speak.to a head manager..even a corporate office was met with opposition and more lies. Saturday afternoon I walked in to Appliance Smart to buy a refrigerator. Here's what I knew I wanted... A refrigerator, white, with an ice maker. That's it, that's all I knew. Wid, and his trainee, Rob, met me at the door, I explained what I wanted, and what I didn't want (stainless, fancy), and they directed me right to the scratch and dent section... no high-pressure sales pitch, and didn't try to talk me into something that I didn't need. We walked up one aisle, and on the first shot found exactly what I wanted. That $1,300 side-by-side brand name refrigerator was mine for $720! I was so happy with my refrigerator purchase that I purchased a " barely scratched or dented" name brand dryer for $400 that retails for right around $650!! The icing on the cake, however, was that today I got contacted to schedule delivery, and I got three dates from which to choose, one of them being a Saturday! Recently, after years of living in furnished apartments, I was faced with the daunting task of purchasing a new refrigerator and range. I had a pretty small budget to work with, but I had heard that lots of stores carried affordable appliances. I visited lots of stores -- Lowe's, Home Depot, Sears -- that all disappointed. Sure, they had a few marginally affordable options, but they were all pretty ugly. I was willing to buy used appliances, but I didn't want to go that route if I could avoid it. In a final moment of desperation, I decided to check out a store I had just seen a commercial for -- ApplianceSmart. It seemed a little shady, but I willing to try. The store wound up being great. This warehouse-style store stocked dozens of appliances that were in my price range. All of the items weren't exactly what I wanted, but after some browsing I found some good choices. I ended up getting a great refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom (rad!) and an oven to match. Perfect. They even offered great financing. When I'm ready to buy a washer, dryer or dishwasher, I'll be heading straight to ApplianceSmart. read more

Terrible ! Stay away ! Good price but appliances are garbage. My boyfriend and I bought a stove from there on 07/20/16 . We recently bought a new house and the stove it came with was super old so we wanted something new. We barely cook by the way but we still wanted something more modern in our kitchen. We got our stove for 515 stainless and black. When the oven is on the oven gets extremely hot on the top you can't even touch it ! The burners work great , so the oven definitely seems defected and unsafe . I have a four year old daughter also . We called the store within 30 days of purchase and was refused a refund. They are extremely rude by the way too but when you're in here store they will be really nice and helpful won't leave you alone but it's a front because the moment you call them they are screaming "manufacture" just trying to push you off to someone else . I spoke with a suppose to be manger named Eugene he talked over me the whole time we spoke on the phone . This company act like if I return the stove and get my money back there lights will be cut off they really suck just be ware to all you new home owners go to menards or Sears and more trusted business with a reputation and not a business so hard of for money and that's all they seem to care about. There business practices seems very unbiased and unethical so I will be in contact there corporate office and better business bereau and channel 6 on your side to put them in blast for the whole city to be aware of how crooked they are and I will be getting me an attorney . Have an invoice with a delivery date for 3-18-17. Somehow that means 3-21-17. I got no call, not update. Will not honor the warranties they sell and will not reimburse customers that have damage to their homes due to the substandard appliances they sell. Unbelievably horrifying customer service and could not be more rude when dealing with a customer complaint. I love this place. Over the years I have bought 3 appliances from them. My salesman was Whit and I loved the way he was available to answer questions but didn't hover. The range I bought had a glitch and I had to exchange it. No problem! John helped me get it all arranged. When I was comparing features of different models Thomas was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I felt really comfortable with my final selection. What a team! I purchased a range and refrigerator from appliancesmart in Dec and extended warranty on the fridge. I've had nothing but trouble with the fridge and find getting service is extremely slow and frustrating. The shortest time from my first call until the service tech even shows up is 3 to 4 weeks. Then maybe another 3 plus weeks until the parts arrive! The service tech told me there's lots of issues with them. One he told of was a fridge purchased about a year ago that turned out to be manufactured about 10 years ago! read more

i usually don't take the time to do these but this time i have to.this store in Reynoldsburg Ohio is just unbelievable .my grandma who is 84 years old went here on on 7/27/2020 to get a dishwasher. the price on the unite they said was not right that someone must have came in the store and wrote it on the tag. this was the first thing that happened! so my grandma being the generous person she is said ok paid about $50.00 more for it they said it was new that they took it out of the box. and i don't think it was. the installer thinks it was installed before to. hooked it up lights came on water goes in and nothing. motor does not work.she did not call us for 3 days thinking it was fine.the installer gets out and conformed it don't work. call appliancesmart and they say they will not take it back.so we was going to take it out and return it tomorrow but i can say you dont sale a defective appliance and then not take it back after making them pay $50.00 more .if anything changes with them i will come back and post a different review but at this time i will never shop there and make sure all my friends and family know what they did to this elderly person.and i am also going to the better business burrow read more

The appliances are priced lower than anyone else, sadly that's where the good part ends. Service is horrible pretty much all the way around. Delivery isn't as easy as it should be, the phone lines are constantly busy for hours so if you have questions you either have to go in or call every 5 minutes until you get through. I called a few times to check the status of my order (it took 3 times the estimated time to get my appliances in) and the guy I spoke to was a compete ass. What you save in money you pay for in stress and poor service. The day of delivery I called countless times only to find out that the truck "broke down" and I would not receive my appliances at all. To make matters worse, one of the 5 appliances I purchased didn't work after installation and despite the fact that it was only 1 day after I picked everything up Appliance Smart refused to do anything. We ordered a freezer from them which they did not have in stock. The guy told us it would be 7-10 business days. 21 days later I called to ask about it and the mgr said he'd look into it. I never heard back. Got ahold of mgr again and he said he didn't know what happened and that he promised to call me back. Never heard back. I called a couple more times and so did my husband. Nothing. Until I went to pay my appliance smart credit card and saw they had credited our account for the freezer and apparently cancelled the order without ever letting us know. Very unprofessional.
