Aside from a pleasant experience, the team at Ferguson exceeds expectations with their in-depth product knowledge. I truly value the investment of continued education and how that information is then shared with me and my clients, equipping us to make the best selections with complete clarity. Where I feel Ferguson shines brightest is in their handling of any issue that may arise. When life inevitably throws a wrench, the true measure of service is how any wrinkle is addressed. The Ferguson staff has yet to disappoint, bending over backward to smooth any issue out whether it is their responsibility or not. It should never take months of back-and-forth just to receive appliances. After all that waiting, the presite technician showed up only to tell me that both the electrician and the kitchen designer did shotty work and that "they should know better." After waiting all this time, the presite appointment was not only unhelpful but completely inappropriate. Instead of reviewing the site professionally or offering solutions, the presite technician made dismissive and unprofessional comments, stating that the electrician and the kitchen designer did "shotty work" and that "they should know better." There was no attempt to work collaboratively or explain what was actually needed to move forward. The appointment felt more like blame-shifting than a productive step in the process. Additionally, I felt uncomfortable during this appointment. I was alone in my home, and the way I was spoken to felt condescending and dismissive. I genuinely felt that I was treated this way because I am a woman and was alone at the time. That is completely unacceptable and should never happen in a professional setting. When the installers finally arrived today, they were professional and courteous, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, during the installation, our vent hood was scratched. This is especially upsetting given how long we waited and how much this project has already cost us in time and stress. Now we are left dealing with additional repairs and coordination that should never have been our responsibility. Throughout this process, I reached out to the manager, Olivia, several times. I even contacted designers who said they would email her directly on my behalf. Not once did I hear from her. On top of that, in six months, we have never once heard from Malieka, who took our credit card information and then completely disappeared. There was no follow-up, no communication and no accountability. We are not wealthy people. We saved, planned and chose to invest our hard-earned money into a nice kitchen, and we trusted this company with that investment. After everything we've dealt with, I will never spend another dime here again, and I plan to make sure others know about this experience as well. If Olivia were a true manager, she would have listened, communicated, and addressed concerns. Instead, she did absolutely nothing. This has been one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have ever had.

    The choice to return an on line purchase to the store wasn't mine. It was the only return option…read morefor the item that didn't work. I thought it would be a simple stop on the way home from the bakery. Not so! My bad back had been especially awful with the weather this week. So I searched for a handicapped parking space on the parking aisles near the entrance. To my surprise there were none. What I had thought were handicapped spots were for customer pickup. The only reason I can envision this parking choice is for the convenience of their employees, not their customers. Down the aisles I drove until I finally found handicapped parking. They were on an aisle near the exit. I walked to the exit door and found it wouldn't open. There was a checkout clerk nearby who wasn't busy. So I knocked on the door.....several times. He finally came & let me in. I told him there needed to be handicapped spaces near the entrance door. No reply. Why couldn't they at least let the exit doors open from the outside? The sign for Customer Service was far, actually near the entrance door. After waiting in line, I was really struggling. And it was obvious. When my turn came the young woman clerk looked at my box as if it were an aberration. She turned to what was obviously her supervisor so I said "I have the scan for the return on my phone." I had it opened & ready for her to ask for the entire time I was in the line. While she was processing the return I told her that there should be handicapped parking near the entrance door. No response. Was I invisible? After I had my return receipt I had to walk back to the exit to get to my vehicle. The whole experience was a nightmare. I hope I never have to return an item to that store again. The value of my having to pay return shipping would be worth not having to experience pain & poor customer service.

I guess my issue is more about their policy, not the customer service. I purchased this Project Source filter #5638704 and it says it replaces the LT800P but it will not screw in at all. The worst part is that Lowe's will not let me return and pay the difference for the OEM LG model because I tried to install it and they can't 'resell' it. How can I know if it works if I don't try it? Why would you want to resell something that doesn't work??? They seem to care about their profit much more than customer satisfaction! I promptly found the LG version on their shelf for twice and much and paid for it, just to make sure that the issue was the product and not my fridge - it worked fine of course! I was told to contact the manufacturer. I can't really blame the manufacturer because sometimes things just don't work right. But I bought it from Lowe's, so I would expect THEM to contact the manufacturer and make sure I leave satisfied. I went to BBB and learned that they are not accredited - and I can see why! I wonder how Home Depot would have handled this situation. I guess I may find out because that is where I will be spending my money from now on!

I purchased my furniture in full February 23, 2015 (the money was completely…read moredebited from my account on the 24th) with a scheduled delivery date of the 24th of February (next day delivery). But lo and behold, February 24th gets here, and I receive a phone call (late in the evening) indicating my furniture wasn't ready, and to help me avoid having to pay separate delivery costs, I'd receive another call when my furniture set was complete. Expecting my wait time to only be a week or 2 counting snow and ice days, I didn't have a severe issue with it not being ready. It was just a little annoying that no one thought the situation through while I was at the store and asked for next day delivery. Being a new customer and how they readily accepted my choice of delivery date, I figured everything was already in stock at the warehouse..... But, long story short, for the next MONTH, I'd receive a random phone call with news of my furniture not being ready, and here it is APRIL 3, 2015, and I STILL HAVEN'T received my furniture! I haven't even received my weekly phone call yet! I've ordered merchandise from China that have gotten here quicker! It's as if AF has to manually design and custom build each piece of my furniture set instead of simply ordering and having it delivered! I must say I'm utterly flabbergasted at the time I've had to wait. This is absolutely ridiculous. I think the next place I should pay a visit to is NavyFed so I can be issued a refund. Hopefully, that won't take another MONTH.

    We purchased a Sub-Zero Refrigerator from them. The installation went great and the installer was…read moreprofessional and knowledgeable. However, recently the handle came off of the freezer drawer and when we called their service department we received the worst service imaginable. The service department gave us the run around. Acted like they didn't know how to handle the situation. Stated they needed to talk to someone in their organization and someone would call us back. We never heard from anyone. No one ever called us back. So we called them again and got the same story. Again, no one ever called us back. We were so frustrated by the situation, we called Sub-Zero directly. Sub-Zero told us East Coast Appliance Builder Direct is NOT an authorized service provider for Sub-Zero, and the closest one to Virginia Beach was 100 miles away! The problem had nothing to do with the mechanical workings of the refrigerator, it was just the handle. Sub-Zero was great, they sent us a video on how to remove the panel and fix the problem. Hopefully, in the future we will never need to have service done on our refrigerator, because their is no one locally to service it. Sub-Zero makes a great product but before you purchase one, please understand that no local company is authorized to service it.
