These are the lovely lovely chipotle chicken like nachos . What a joke. Is this for real? Literally just chicken and cheese on chips. No guacamole or tomatoes. The staff here is amazing, and whomever is our server, we always have a great time with them. Laura is awesome, Derrico, who used to work there, was AMAZING, and their night shift bartender is super friendly. The food, is just ok though. Your typical applebee's fare, nothing to write home about, but it's nice to have a place in the area to grab a meal. We usually opt for the $25/27 deal to get the app along with our meal. I do really enjoy the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp, and since it's served on cast iron, it's always piping hot. read more

This was a rough visit. It was on a Friday at 5:15pm, so it was busy and it was happy hour. First the hostess gave me a little attitude about being a party of one. Sorry I guess? ‍ I ordered an Arnold Palmer, pretty decent. I also got the HH wings and quesadilla. The kitchen did a great job on the wings, I had them toss them on the grill after they sauced them. It gave them some char. The quesadilla was very lackluster. The filling was 80% pico, which made it completely soggy. I scraped out the pico and was left with very little cheese and chicken in the dilla. I would have told my server, but she was way too busy to give me much attention. She was pleasant, just not available. She asked me how my food was as she passed by. I'm not going to rush back to this location. read more

Waitress was annoying. We didn't get our APPETIZERS until 1 hour. I ordered mozzarella sticks That were lukewarm and had no cheese pull. Don't come here if you want good food. back again as soon as I finish this review my aunt got her steak. It looked like leather and she choked on it with one bite. from her words, and I quote, "it was subatomic." it If you want anything good don't come here. if your kids wanna come here for their birthday, say they will have the worst birthday party of their life. My daughter had a tournament in Hutchinson today so we went to Applebees. We sat down and ordered our drinks and got called back to our tournament unexpectedly. My husband ran my daughter to the tournament and I proceeded to order our food to go along with getting our drinks. What a bummer! The one silver lining was our server, Melissa! She was so sweet and understanding and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to get out the door with our food. Great job! read more

ok i guess applebees here in hutchinson on hwy 15. i was greeted in a friendly manner like 3xs coming in the door on my way to the bar. awesome friendly bar maid behind the bar cheerfully hustling her butt off making everyone happy. great soundtrack of songs playing in the background (the pretenders, steve miller band, tom petty etc) with the wild game on all tvs with the telecast totally muted. nice. a totally 5 star applebees atmosphere lol except for 1 thing the bald applebees manager yelling across the bar for no reason and training employees in way to loud a voice. i guess because its friday night 2-2-18 at 8 pm and after a long week of work i dont feel like learning how to run the applebees computer and listening to him belittle employees for being late in front of the whole restaurant (yes hes that loud) lol its now 10 pm and he hasnt quit talking once, hes definitely having more fun than anyone but i still gotta take 2 stars because i had to leave because of it the dread these girls must feel before going to work the nights baldy works must be hard. i bet they have alot of turnover here i was gonna bring a party in here to watch the super bowl on sunday but the search continues ha read more

Great food with incredibly fast service!! Half price apps portion was smaller than usual, but it's hard to complain with the price!

The service and attention was over the top! The manager notified me of an error and they were quick to fix it and even gave us free dessert. They continue to be very apologetic and we're completely attentive. The food was also well prepared and delicious. Best experience at Applebee's! read more

I came here with my son for a meal just before the dinner rush. It was the least busy I have ever seen it. There were only two other tables in our section that were occupied. The waitress came around and took the orders of the people at the other two tables, looked at ours, turned her head up and walked away, as if she were angry at us for something. We sat there for over half an hour waiting to place our orders and were not even offered water. The waitress stood next to our table while serving the customers at the table adjacent to ours, looked at us and then walked away. I made eye contact with her, so I know she saw us. We decided to go away. As we were leaving, my son said one of the staff sneered at him. I don't understand. My son and I are well mannered. We did nothing offensive. We were well dressed. We had showered and shaved. We weren't wearing MAGA hats or any other garb that might have offended someone. The only thing unusual about us that I can think of is that I am a Quaker, but I hadn't mentioned it so I doubt anybody knew that. If we had done something wrong, I wish somebody had informed us what it was so we could have worked on improving ourselves if needed. I have been to this location several times as in Hutchinson, there aren't very many places to eat. Went in to this location last weekend, and had a very so-so experience. My wife and I got greeted by a girl who obviously had more sugar running through her system than the entirety of Willy Wonka's chocolate river - on our way to our table, we were stopped, then shown to a second table, then stopped, and shown to a third table. We didn't ask for a different table. The hostess assumed for some reason that we didn't want the either of the first two tables. Strange. Our waitress was nice, prompt, and attentive. A very nice, attractive young woman of probably 20 years of age who seemed to be on the ball with the details of our order. The appetizers came out relatively quick; drinks were kept filled; I needed additional sweeteners for my tea, and she provided. No complaints regarding her or her attitude, and I hope they don't share tips in this restaurant, as she deserved the full amount. Her attitude was/is quite refreshing, and I wish other waitresses/waiters of other places would I ordered the full rack of ribs with the spicy sauce. My order came, and the ribs were really tough. Tough in the fact that the meat was chewy, and did not come off the bone easily, either with my hands/teeth attempting to pull on it like a sabretooth tiger in a time of famine, or with a freshly sharpened knife/fork combination straight from the high-tech mills of IKEA. What really sucks is that last night, I went to eat at the Ground Round in Waconia, Minnesota, and their ribs were perfect - fell off the bone, cooked tender, juicy, and mouthwatering. Why can't Applebee's accomplish the same thing? As I waited for my entree to come, I was entertained - more annoyed - by the bald headed guy who was serving bar that afternoon. I have had this guy as my waiter before, and quite honestly, he likes to come across with a holier-than-thou attitude and like he is funny and successful, but honestly, he should learn some basic pleasantries and not try to impress his clientele with his self-conceptualized intelligence, because quite frankly, he doesn't have it, and should stop trying to pretend he is smarter than his guest. Hey bald waiter guy, you suck. Stop the bullshit, serve the food, your customers don't care about your five minutes of reading whatever Internet news feed you decided to browse through in order to have something to say. You're probably a nice guy, but I suspect that you haven't figured out that you are simply trying to hard to impress people who don't really care about your opinions, and would rather you would deliver their drinks in a timely manner. You attempts at being friendly and carrying on a friendly banter may be welcome to some, but honestly, you come on a bit strong, and the way that you seem to focus the majority of your attention on my wife (and other female guests that I observed at other tables) makes me really want to tell you to fuck off at times. In fact, several times both of us have stated that we would rather pick up frozen food at Walmart to eat than dine at Applebees because we don't want to have to listen to you or worse, have you be the person we are forced to deal with on our next visit. Other people on here have stated that the bald guy is also a cause of their satisfaction. If anyone here from this Applebee's location is reading this, maybe you should seriously consider talking to this guy and working with him to improve his interpersonal communication skills. I do want to state that I am not basing my comments about bald guy on one visit, and the comments above should be taken as a cumulative compilation from several visits during the past year. read more
