This review is going to be for service only, because.... We were seated and waited nearly fifteen minutes for someone to come to take our orders. The restaurant had only about a third of the tables occupied and wait staff were walking around passing by our table many times. No one ever acknowledged that we were there so we got up and walked out. There are too many restaurants in the area to receive this kind of service. read more

Food was great, service was awesome! Food was made to perfection didn't have to wait long.

Ben was our server. He excels at his job. We were sat immediately which is to be expected on a Tuesday evening. Our appetizer (pretzels and beer cheese) was amazing! The pretzels were hot and crispy on the outside, yet soft and doughy on the inside! The cheese was delicious also. Our entres came out before we finished our pretzels and I couldn't be happier. Overall the food was great and the service was even better. read more

Applebee's Grill + Bar - 4 cheese Mac and tenders, pretzels and beer cheese, bourbon street sizzlin chicken and shrimp. - American Near Me - Ashland, Kentucky

this place is always hit or miss .. especially with doordash orders. Go in if you're looking for the best service.

Amazing food and service late night crew deserves all the tips they're professional funny and kind regardless of the time they are hard workers! Me and my family love to come here. The ambiance was so nice the music was killer! You can request songs on an app and for five dollars you can pick three songs. All the workers definitely deserve a raise. read more

wow would not except a gift card that I received for Christmas. Told me to confirm it online. I did this on my phone in front of server and they still would not accept it. Big scam read more

Pathetic... decided to try this location again but as a pickup )we know inside is nothing but rude loud music and cursing staff) and upon arriving home with the bag there was an entire meal missing. I call and Stephanie says that the missing food isn't their fault yet the bag was packed by them and supposedly QC'd by them. Sad when they can't even take responsibility for their own mistakes. I'm not sure that this location will ever improve and definitely not on the right track to do so with non-service oriented, uneducated staff that on top of all that was overly rude when I even brought up the missing food. AVOID THIS LOCATION LIKE THE PLAQUE. read more

They upped their prices and smaller portions. The chicken tender platter is now only 4 pieces and not even full tenders. I would hate to see how much chicken you get in a basket. Big plate, 4 half tenders and 3/4 plate of cold fries. This place has gone downhill. In the middle of winter and it's freezing in the restaurant. Waitress takes payment and just hangs out at the machine and makes you wait while she gossips. And if you are looking for a waitress who will sit on your table, ask for Korrina S!!! read more

Called to report missing shrimp and over cooked steak. Ordered through their app. The employee made no effort to correct the situation but kept blaming door dash. They have lost a customer read more

I moved to Ashland from California a couple years ago and have been dining here since I moved here and I just want to say that the tall blonde haired host is the sweetest and most hard working young man I've ever seen at his young age. His mother has been our server on different occasions and I wanna praise her too. They both always provide excellent customer service. read more

Typical Applebee's. The food was good and the server was excellent. She was very patient and made some suggestions to help my 90 year old father decide what he wanted. He decided on chicken nuggets and french onion soup. He loved his lunch. Sometimes an employee can turn a run-of-the-mill restaurant into something pleasantly out of the ordinary. read more

Food was ok but service was the worst. Server forgot to order our appetizer so it didn't come until we were almost done eating. He never refilled drinks and we didn't see him again until I finally got up and went to the bar to ask for our check. read more

Don't order takeout through their app. My order was missing the shrimp and the steak was overcooked. Called the store and they said to contact DoorDash. I'll never order from them again read more

This is our favorite place in town to eat! We go several times a week and they just keep getting better. The food is great and the staff are all amazing! You can tell the managers really care about their guest and their employees. It has had such a great vibe the past couple weeks. read more

The most important thing during this time is excellent carry service and quality. This restaurant lacks in both lately. In addition to orders being consistently late the carry out staff makes excuses as to being "too busy" and acting if I arrived too early. One, there was one other car in the parking lot and the online system tells you when to arrive. Improvement needed read more

We went out for our birthday dinner . All the food seemed like it had been microwaved , the pretzels and Queso was very low quality. The boneless wings was chew and not fresh . And the main dishes seemed like they sat under a warmer for ever . Will not be going back for a while . Plus the menu had been cut in half which made it that much worse read more

My mom, my sister and I enjoyed a plethora of delicious appetizers. The Beer Battered Pretzel Sticks with cheese were our favorite. Our server was very friendly and on point. I would recommend this Applebee's to anyone. You can't beat the lively and fun atmosphere. OH and the happy hour deals!!! ‍ read more

I love Applebees!! It's the perfect place to go with friends. They have great appetizers. The spinach dip, pretzels with beer cheese, and the chicken won ton tacos are incredible! (Note: Do not get the chicken won ton tacos to go because they do get soggy very quickly and are best eatin as fresh as possible). They also almost always have the 2 for $20 and 2 for $25 deal where u can get 2 entrees and 1 appetizers so you can eat very affordable for good quality. My top favorite entrees are the bourbon street chicken and shrimp, their Ribs, and the bourbon street steak. They have a great variety of dishes to suit anyone. read more

the food was absolutely awful. the steak was overseasoned, they had to fix our order multiple times. the 4 cheese mac n cheese tasted like pure noodles. no flavor at all. will not be eating here again. read more

Ordered steak, loaded potato, and broccoli. The veggie was black from over cooked, the steak was supposed to be medium and it was well done and dry. My potato had no butter or sour cream and it was all ice cold to the point the cheese would not melt on potato. Hardly saw waitress. Probably won't be back for a while, if at all. Very disappointed. read more

The food was good, nothing wrong there. The woman who waited on us to seat was very rude and impatient. Our server, Mason, was absolutely fantastic. He was very talkative and attentive to everything we needed. read more

Horrible service took forever to get anything. Waitress liked to talk to coworkers than wait on tables. Even before covid service was horrible. This was the last chance won't go back read more

I came here for the "all you can eat" for $12.99 a person. They bring out 4 wings at a time for 3 people and we are waiting 20min or more in between when they bring the next plate. read more

Went here with my family. The service was bad and the food wasn't better. I was very disappointed and when we went to order half of them where wrong. I'm allergic to tomato and asked for no tomato saying I'm allergic then I got extra tomatoes on my burger! Then someone in my party ordered something and got something completely different. this place has gone downhill. read more

This is exactly what you would expect at Applebees. Greasy food. Bad selection of beer, but good selection of liquor drinks. It's cheap, but it's not good. Applebee's isn't about the food though, it is about the experience. read more

Terrible service...our waiter didn't even really wait our table. We had someone bring out our food... which our fries were cold. Then our waiter passed our table four different times after we got our food and didn't even stop to check on us. We tried to get his attention for napkins because apparently napkins are a rare thing nowadays. We ended up having to ask the hostess for napkins, which she went out of her way to find. read more

This place is just like any other applebees, they are pretty cheap for a steakhouse type place and have an excellent variety, almost anyone can find something they like here. I am particularly fond of the boneless wings, which are second only to buffulo wild wings around here. If you go for lunch be sure to get the tomato basil soup, I would eat there just for this even if everything else was horrible. I think they're sort of know for their grouchy servers, though occasionally you'll get a really good one. They have a 2 for $20 deal as of this writing as well as half price appetizers at certain times and a $5.99 all you can eat soup, salad and breadstick deal before 4pm. They are very cheap compared to other similar restaurants in the area and, in my opinion, better than many of them. read more

First of all the waitress was a bitch and the food was cold the waitress had an attitude the whole time she was nice to others but rude to me I will never go there again the ribs were frozen and I have never got only 5 chicken wings there should be more than that the fries sucked and the steak was pink when I asked for well done thanks Shelley p. The last time I went I couldn't get seated. It was 4 pm, so the restaurant was mostly empty. The bartender made eye contact with me, but went back to flirting with the blonde woman sitting at the bar. Several waitresses and what appeared to be a manager were standing around and laughing loudly. The time before that I was seated but never saw a waitress. read more

I must say the place has really gone down hill in a bad way. The French onion soup came out cold I sent it back it came out burnt. The steaks we just plain bad. On the upside the server was very nice. The problems came from the kitchen. The manager was also very nice and apologetic for the food and took some off the bill. read more

Decent food. But for the love of god. Change the music that was blasted throughout the place. Instead of a blast to the past to 2008 music. Maybe something modern? Or just nothing at all would be better than reminiscing to one of the worst times in my life. Walking out of the restaurant all I kept thinking about was how I'd like to erase 2003-2011 out of my life. Almost had a meltdown in the middle of the restaurant. Horrible experience. But the food is fine. read more

Service is adequate and food is pretty good. I think their steak is really good for a casual restaurant. The half price appetizers are good and the mixed drinks have plenty of choices. Nothing overtly special but nothing significantly disappointing either. read more
