Flat out refused to repair my macbook pro. I went there cause my macbook died and didn't reboot. I talked to a person at the door but they said they don't have any appointments available. Can't really say anything bad about how this the Apple Store is built because its beautiful, it is basically like any of the Apple Stores you will see in America. Therefore having me think this is an Official store built by Apple themselves. This store is 2 stories of various Apple products and other products they approved. There is a bunch of "Apple Genius" walking around to give assistance. I can't really say if they know anything about the products or can actually help because I didn't see them helping anyone. I am a royal Apple customer since 2007. I am actively using most of your products. I have been in US several Apple Stores from Chicago to L.A. I am also registered iOS developer. Today I went to Apple Store at Zorlu Center Istanbul, Turkey. My iPhone's ear-speaker has very low volume output so I wanted to give it to Apple Service for repair. I know that my warranty has finished. So I thought it would be 5-10 minute stop to Apple Store and give it to service. In store I was told to go Genuis bar for my request. I sat down at Genius bar for 10 minutes and tried to find a genius to talk. I said "Hi" to 2 Geniuses and they didnt even give feedback to me. Then an employee was passing by me. I have stopped and told her that I was sitting at the bar for ten mins and asked her assistance. She told me I needed to give a try for Genius appointment from website which is avaliable at 00.00 (GMT+3). If I am successful than they could help me at in given time with estimated waiting time 15 mins. I have asked if all the people at the bar have appointment from website. She told me they are not. So I went out from Store without getting any help at all. My first complaint is why there are so many people without appointment can have support and I can not get. Do I have to be aggresive and be problem guy to solve my problems at Apple Store? By the way I am not the only one who have experienced same problem. Internet has lots of stories like me. I can give you urls if you ask.(they are Turkish) My other complaint is staff at Turkey store is not kind, responsive and good looking(They should have more cleaner t-shirts, badges and clothes. I am not formal dress code guy but their clothes must be more cleea ) They could guide me at first entry to store so I didnt have to wait for 10 mins. They could be more solution oriented than ignorant. Also They should be more friendly. If I compare U.S Apple Store staff with Istanbul Apple Store staff there is a huge difference at attitude. After this experience I can say that I will not buy my next iphone from that store. I get better attitude and feedback from other retail stores' staff. read more

While i love Apple and their range of products (Own a macbook pro, macbook air, a bunch of ipods, and iPhones) i am none the less disappointed by the service options available at the Apple Store Zorlu Center Istanbul (European Side, near my city apt) and the Apple Store Asian Side. I've had an issue with charging on an iPhone 6 and my iPhone 6 Plus has an issue with the camera; the iPhone 6 plus camera is taking fuzzy photos, to say the least. Anyhow, if i were in Atlanta, Chicago, Manchester, or any other city on earth, i would be able to just book an online appointment at the nearest apple store and take the stupid thing in for service. However, and as of now, for two months now, i have been unable to book an appointment at the Apple website for both of Turkey's stores, both of which are in istanbul: Asian and European sides. Why? well, both are fully booked. I called customer service by phone and was told they couldn't be of help. Got on apples web chat service, same crap, different time. So here i lay in wait for this long sought after appointment to fix a product that needs repairs under their own warranty. Only other option is to take it to an "authorized service provider' where i have to wait at a minimum of 14 days to get it back. Well, since i depend on my iPhone for everything (whoops, my stupid bad), i can't really do that now can i? Thanks Apple *(an addiction i need to fix soon, now that i realize that apple service isn't what it used to be). So i'm frustrated. Getting an appointment at Apple Store Turkey is a myth, as i've come to believe. Although the store itself is a typical Apple Store, which deserves 5 stars, my experience with Genius Bar wasn't so good. First it is really hard to get an appointment. I don't know if this is Apple's fault. But after getting an appointment I waited there for like 45 minutes and got nothing. Getting nothing part is not entirely Apple's fault but the fact that I had to wait for 45 minutes is not nice at all. read more
