Two man team came and with 90 minutes the roof was clean. There was little to no clean up, It rained heavily the next day and that create some questions, James answered them immeidately and thoroughly. A great company and a great experience. Horrible experience with this owner. Before hiring, I was very specific in making sure that the grass and shrubs would be protected. I was assured there would be no problems. My entire side yard along with my neighbors, is ruined from the harsh strong bleach that was poured over the roof. I called Jamie who keeps telling me it will come back. It's been over a month and I have huge patches of burned out yard... He sent some young kid out to look at the yard and of course he quoted Jaime verbatim. Never again... They were prompt and courteous, both in returning my call and setting up the appointment. They were very careful with my landscaping and gave me instructions on keeping them from burning if there was runoff. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. The day following the cleaning I observed sever shrubs dying due to the chemicals having been splashed on them. I called Chris, the owner, to discuss but he does not return my call. Apple Roof Cleaning cleaned our roof after repeated assurances that they were professionals who took great care not to kill your landscaping. Chris Tucker frequently writes articles on the subject and yet, after his team cleaned our home, the lawn and plants started dying. He admitted that they had to use a lot of cleaning solution, but he now claims it was an act of God that is killing the yard & plants, not the "secret formula" used on the tiled roof. He also said that because it didn't rain hard enough, the deadly solution wasn't diluted enough so he doesn't feel responsible. His own website talks about the proper care to water the yard & spray down the bushes before and after treatment. He clearly talks a good story, but don't believe him. His bill was $175 more than other estimates but we chose him because of all his so called knowledge about the proper way to clean the roof and protect the landscaping. Don't be suckered like we were. He refuses to honor his word so I strongly urge any potential client to avoid Apple or at least get it all in writing. Doubt he will pay up even then. read more

I used this company twice now and was very pleased with the results, and about to use again on a different property for a family member. I was truly amazed with the results the first time. I have a light color roof and had some sort of mold that was black and looked worse when wet from the rain. After the cleaning the roof looked brand new. When I was looking to sell I wanted the roof cleaned again. They came out quickly in time for my MLS listing. I believe the roof gets treated because after the second cleaning many-many years later it looks better after a few weeks than right after. Roof cleaning of this type is a much overlooked. I had a very bad experience with this company. They damaged my property (shutter and windows damaged) and gave me a very hard time about repairing it, saying they didn't damage anything. Pictures from the day before show that nothing was broken then. The tenants in the property (who have always been wonderful at telling me about damage to the house) also reported that the damage was caused by the guys washing the roof.
