I'm not a fanboy, I just love excellent customer service - staff who say hello and enquire if you need any assistance before efficiently dealing with your enquiry. Or, if you're just there to browse they're more than happy to leave you to do so. So I went in, had a good chat with the staff, got my new phone, got the contacts transferred across there and then and I was off... you can't ask more than that... no time wasted, but nothing was rushed... other retailers should use this as a model of how things should be done. Sure, some people are Apple haters and I can sort of understand why... fanboys have a rose-tinted view of things and the company can be a tad over-confident on occasion, but when it comes to customer service I'm yet to experience better! read more

Everything that I loved about the genius bar help I received in Plymouth was entirely missing in Exeter - Appalling.

Over a week ago I ordered a 27 inch Apple Mac with all the specs when I saw a photo of it it had I support leg when the package arrived it never had one when I phoned up Apple suppliers they had never had of a 27in Mac without a support leg well I am the first I had to send it back and got my refund then today Tuesday, 7 July 2015 I drove to Exeter 50 odd miles to order one from the Apple store a young man named Tim help me order one at the store the right model the 27 inch that I wanted I was assured that this one would have a support leg, I've just had a text with the new order and it said this one is without a suppor leg and It will be despatching it out to me on 17 July what do I do now who do I speak to to get the right order please someone at Apple help me I am a long standing Apple Mac computer buyer. read more

Same as any other apple store. modern shop front and interior. Helpful staff but a little stretched at busy times,,oh and damn teenages on all the computers/ ipads checking their emails and surfing !!! read more

Great shop alike to other apple stores, very modern, minimalist desighn, incredibly knowlageable staff willing to help. Helped me with my itunes issues eventhough i use a windows netbook :) read more

Absolutely awful !!!! Needed yo get my phone fixed ; speaker not working and still under warranty ) made an appointment and took my phone into store , had to come back the next day I was told it would take no longer than an hour to fix , as i am a business customer ( I had 'my 4 children with me as was the school holidays ) I was then told I had to wait 3 1/2 hours so had to try and entertain my poor fed up children for that time - not impressed !! Shame on you apple !! read more

On visiting the store on the advice of Apple customer service having been told the problem with my iPad would be repaired or replaced as it was still in its warranty time. My visit to store was something else the technician didn't even look at the problem but said he he could replace it at a cost, I asked to see the manager that experience was something else. He completely ignore the fact that I had been sent in for a free of charge repair or replacement and dismissed me so rather than have a frank discussion I walked out of the store. I again reached the original person whom I had dealt with on the phone and explained the situation, he again assured me that I was entitled to repair or replacement free of charge. I am still trying to settle this ongoing situation. The Exeter store is not particularly friendly as I have found before, and several of my friends have found the same. Perhaps it's because I am a senior citizen and they think I am passed it because when younger people were being dealt with I could see a completely different attitude. I am of the opinion that they are not good at customer care. read more

What an awful experience, really expect more from apple! Gave up trying to get a free battery replacement after given false info on a 1h10 min wait then told about another hour maybe more, and that was just to get it looked at not for the work to be started! Had to rejoin a queue only to get ignored then after speaking to a really helpful manager, who runs and the way he acts owns apple! Wouldn't give me any details to make a store complaint against him as he would be him dealing with it, when asked if I'm making a complaint about you I was again told it yes I deal with it. Strange would have expected a higher manger perhaps not based a store level, cheers for the great service and not resolving or even trying to help!! read more

Great addition to Exeter's new shopping area Princesshay. Modern shopfront, typically Apple, all glass with minimalist interior apart from stacks of Apple goodies. Full of very friendly Apple helpers, the place has a real buzz to it. Whether you just want to browse or buy stuff or visit the genius bar(!) or go for tuition in a product or some software its a cool place to shop and very different from the normal shopping experience! Apple seem to achieve a friendly and happy environment which makes you feel as though you've done a good deed in parting with your cash. That takes some doing! read more
